I supported the premise of lockdown in March 2020. However, this thread is mental and worrying given what an overtly authoritarian government we have.
Boris should be personally refunding every one of those fines.

This is why people were scared into it so they did accept it and even grass others up. Thinking that a couple of people in the park was dangerous and could kill their nan.
Pictures of people in China collapsing in the street with people in Hazmat suits. It was all bollocks.
Then you had Piers Morgan on ITV every day telling everybody they are going to die (meanwhile he was still living as normal and so was his son).
People on here bleating about people talking to each other in supermarkets as well
Was a bit of an odd ramble. Says we have to remain cautious and that Omicron is not mild for everyone but then says he's removing the few mitigations we have in place and trusting people to make the right choices.Wasn't expecting masks to go next week too!
Yeah, I think he said individual venues can make their own minds up on it essentiallyOnly had it on in background but thought I heard him say that vaccine passes are going too?
I still cannot understand why face masks are recommended in certain settings, but not mandated. It makes it so much harder to message effectively when you do mandate them, and makes it so much harder to encourage people to wear them where they are recommended. Why on earth is that such a big deal for some people? Not like I'm allowed to go on a bus waving my cock about, is it.Was a bit of an odd ramble. I still want to know, beyond going to work(!) what people will now be doing next week that they couldn't do this week. There we go, tiny bit of restrictions while we reviewed the variant then all released before long.
Wasn't that bad at all.
Have a read of Britannia Unchained to bring you back down to earth.Happy everythings going. Will be nice to get into a routine of WFH and the office. I don't think I'd ever consider a job in the future that didn't at least offer me flexible working. Theres things to life other than working and WFH allows that little bit more flexibility. Really hoping the 4 day working week trials are positive, think it could be really good for us as a country.
Back to TV license dutyDoes that mean that the mysterious vans won’t be roaming about then?
Phew, that’s a big relief.Back to TV license duty
Just had a quick glance over what it’s about and will give it a read.Have a read of Britannia Unchained to bring you back down to earth.
Just in time for nutty Nadine to abolish it.Back to TV license duty

And the Covid pass didn't actually stop you doing anything, anyway. Was just thinking about this, for me plan B meant making sure I've got a mask in my pocket when I go out but really nothing else, didn't even get to use a covid pass as I missed the one game it counted for.
Pomodoros mate and a timer app on my ipad called Toggl Tracker.Yeah I have worked at home full time since working for myself last March. You need to have a lot of discipline to be able to do it successfully.
Sent them all to some European countriesDoes that mean that the mysterious vans won’t be roaming about then?
Nope, just had to wear a mask briefly and show a bit of paper with a QR code on. That impinged on some people's human rights though apparently. And the Covid pass didn't actually stop you doing anything, anyway.
I thought it was quite an amusing dig at your medical expertise tbh!Love the new avatar @Deleted member 5849 . I'm flattered by your strange obsession.
Should I be checking my doorbell camera more regularly?

Although doing that would make you a total bellend of course.Exactly. I saw people complaining that it was an invasion of privacy as if it was full access to medical records and that kind of thing but it was really just something that either said 'I've had a vaccine' or 'I've had a test' and to be honest you could have presented a QR code that originally let you into Alton Towers for all anyone was actually paying attention
