Because I am living it and breathing it, have spoken to HMRC, have spoken to people that are involved in setting the portal up, and on a twice weekly basis I attend webinars with many other people facing the same issues in the London area across different industries in order to pool knowledge to be as well prepared as its possible to be, because the info coming out changes every day (as it would when you're setting something like this up in such a short space of time).

About the furloughing in the UK, is it like here in that you can be placed on furlough for a certain percentage of time and then work as normal the rest?
At the moment I’m working from home as normal 50% of the time and the other 50% is paid by the government (80%).
Is that possible in the UK as well? Or is it you either work 100% of 0% but can furlough pay?

We have not yet peaked, the reported deaths aren't what happened on that day, they're just what has been reported that day. I think we'll get to mid April before we've peaked (being optimistic).
Yeah the scheme has been in place since the start of the month and means businesses can keep some kind of activity going on.You can’t work. Is the italy scheme running? Bbc are running a series on Italy and casual workers have received nothing on some scheme and they were showing some pretty desperate scenes in Rome

Government have committed to the support, they cannot then back trackI would venture to suggest that won't turn out to be true, however there is no point arguing as nobody knows for sure, its a little risky for any company to build in the assumptions you'll automatically qualify. If you have the cashflow to cover, why would you be given the cash at the potential expense of companies that can't- I don't think that is an unreasonable point for the govt to make. They will be asking companies to demonstrate why they cannot meet the expense themselves, that will be cashflow statement & management accounts.

I still won’t look at a pussy in quiet the same way again.Inter-species transmission does occur but is rare and quite often goes no further than the initial host it was transferred to. People also tend to die quickly in such cases because their immune system isn't set up to cope with it in any way.
It's the rare instances when they are then transmissible between humans that we really start to see problems.
