Italy cases have gone up by 800 today on yesterdays figure which is a big increase, the deaths have dropped though

Testing has massively in creased as well.

We went over this yesterday. Positive cases will go up as you increase testing as you are no longer just recording the most serious that present to hospital.

You either need to wait until the amount of tests tops out or look at the percentage of positive cases.

I think NI was included (as they were announced early, if not they were 5 deaths and 84 positives)

The 5.5k new cases isn’t a huge surprise if we haven’t peaked yet (less than Sunday’s number of 5.8k)

If it rises at a similar rate tomorrow then that will be a lot more concerning. Fingers crossed
