The other one you replied to showed that you are not allowed to travel long distances unless a very good reason to.The bbc link? Yeah fair enough but how was I meant to quote you on that link before you posted it? Ha ha

Weird. Felt sick second week of March and had a few of the symptoms as did the girl I am seeing (I was at her house all week and staying in the same bed and we were sick together).
She went for the antibody test last week and got her results on Friday and was positive. So I went and got mine done and just got results saying negative.
Really weird no? How accurate are these tests
That's what you should do but unlimited exercise in reality means if stopped by the police you can say I was out for a walk or I was driving to go for a walk

Should've kept the 'stay at home' instead of 'stay alert'. I still don't know what that means.
Also its great that people are encouraged to go back to work and go outdoors more as long as social distancing measures are in place. What about those wanting to see friends, families and partners not in the same household? Without stating the obvious (particularly where partners are concerned!) does that mean that this can only happen outdoors and 2m apart?
Mans a plum mateBut it’s from before today’s speech though isn’t it?
What does it say then?
I know that's obviously excessive but someone in the commons or a member of the public to ask and clarify your point about the extended family. Got the same issue, daughter and grandkids live in the next road and we're all being very carful. FFS, her youngest is type 1 so obviously everyone is ensuring he's not put in any danger.I can go out tomorrow, drive to Skeggy, spend the day on the beach, but I can't visit my daughter who lives round the corner. It's fucking nonsense.
'People in England are free to drive somewhere to exercise'Can they?
They can travel a short distance for exercise. What is so difficult to understand?
How have exercise guidelines changed?
I know the truth doesn't go well with the point most are putting across here. But there's the rules for you.

Reiterating that travel hasn't changed. Short distance for exercise. Short distance as possible for shopping. Travel for work. If not stay at home. But it’s from before today’s speech though isn’t it?

Can't people read?
OK carry on with point scoring. There is enough out there to tell you.'People in England are free to drive somewhere to exercise'
That means anywhere?
A point Boris made was that you can play sport outdoors with your family.
But does he mean family, or should he mean household ?
Why can't Clint meet his daughter in the park round the corner and throw a ball to each other or sit on a bench ? ( 2 metres apart if it's a long one )
It's extremely confusing . Scotland Wales and NI have got it right. No confusion.

Boris said you can play sport with your family. But family don't always live together. My two eldest daughters have their own families in their own homes but according to him I can have contact with them .If you have been keeping up you would know it is to do with households and not family. If you live together there is no extra risk unless those not in your household join you.
What is difficult to understand any of this?
Sorry wasn't pointed at you. Just ended off using your words to aim at others making up their own stories.Yes I can thankyou.
There are some on this thread that go p;atronising and pompous for the sake of it, I'm sure they're going to fill their boots.
not being funny pal, but it’s confusing even trying to make any sense of what you’re saying, let alone these new ‘rules’
Going? This shutdown is having strange effects on people it seems. From before today’s speech and the new rules tomorrow.
Am I going mental or what?
You could meet up at the local garden centre near the geraniums. Go in separate cars . Take your birth certificates just in case. You have to be with people from your own household Alan.
Though I'm sure if you're right, as long as you maintain social distancing you could meet as you say. Though she's nearly 30 so.probably not really interested in a game of catch!
It is only confusing if you listen to people who don't have a clue or that make their own story up.The fact we're debating shows the message is confused.
I'm not trying to point score, I am just trying to point out what has been said verbatim both from the PM and the BBC article you posted.OK carry on with point scoring. There is enough out there to tell you.

Nah he's just speshThe fact we're debating shows the message is confused.
So you don't understand the meaning of household?Boris said you can play sport with your family. But family don't always live together. My two eldest daughters have their own families in their own homes but according to him I can have contact with them .
Stay at home is therefore completely dead in England but no one understands quite who they can see and who they can't.
You clearly do. Bully.
I actually think the bloke has a point.
And you have missed all the times that 'household' has been mentioned?I'm not trying to point score, I am just trying to point out what has been said verbatim both from the PM and the BBC article you posted.
Going? This shutdown is having strange effects on people it seems.
Boris did say household to be fair, not family.Boris said you can play sport with your family. But family don't always live together. My two eldest daughters have their own families in their own homes but according to him I can have contact with them .

Look stop having a go at him, not sure why it is but people always seem to think he's in the wrongRight. The article you have quoted is from yesterday. It even says on it:
At present, people should only leave home if they have a "reasonable excuse"
That was yesterday mate, and right now it’s changed. But you piled on giving it point scoring with an outdated article and are trying to accuse me of being mental. Have another go.
No? You must be getting mixed up with someone else. And you have missed all the times that 'household' has been mentioned?
So what has changed today?Right. The article you have quoted is from yesterday. It even says on it:
At present, people should only leave home if they have a "reasonable excuse"
That was yesterday mate, and right now it’s today and has changed based on what’s been said today.
Hopefully we get more information tomorrow.
But you piled in giving it point scoring with an outdated article and are trying to accuse me of being mental. Have another go.
