Local hospital had no idea either
I’d like to know more about Ian Paisley’s expertise on hydrogen buses.
The initial approach isn't unchecked, it's just been slowed a bit. It is still the strategy, flatten the curve not eliminate it.Yeah it definitely is concerning. It's interesting as scientists/researchers/clinicians have hypothesising for months whether antibodies may not be long lasting or be the answer to squashing the virus. This was one of the reasons why the WHO were up in arms about the prospect of the UK pursuing the herd immunity tactic, as not only would it likely cause hundreds of thousands of preventable deaths but there was no evidence at the time to suggest that it would successfully muscle out the virus whatsoever.
Whilst the UK hasn't appropriately managed this crisis at all well, the latest findings show how devastating the situation could have gotten if our government's initial approach was left unchecked.
I know the reason, pretty sure it's down to an issue with the private labs being able to share data into GP systems. It should be fixed now but will obviously be incomplete.Proper shite from Boris Ladd again, no answer to why Leicester and other LA's are not getting up to date pillar 2 data.
Except for S&V .Dont eat Walkers Crisps.
How about Melton Mowbray pork pies or Red Leicester?Dont eat Walkers Crisps.
Dont eat Walkers Crisps.
They're made in cov aren't they?
Close the M 69.
Definitely right to go with deaths. The testing data seems to be all over the place and when they won't release the number of people actually tested its virtually impossible to draw any reliable conclusions from the data they do publish.
Do they publish the number of people admitted to ICU and / or hospital? That might be a useful indicator, assuming the underlying data is solid so you can split out covid-19 cases from everything else.
Frustrating thing is, based on the trends, they probably only needed a couple of weeks more, anyway.829 cases
176 deaths
I'm not sure why people talk of a second wave, the first one has not subsided yet. When are the numbers going to drop off? It's too early to release lock down imo.

Walkers Crisps? If it's anything like it was back in the 90's Doritos and Hula Hoops are made at Baginton. The actually crisps are made in Leicester.
Australia locked down Melbourne they had 76 positive tests yesterday829 cases

Righto, i knew it was Doritos but wasn't sure what else. Most people who have done agency work at some point seem to have worked there.
Making the same mistake we made going into lockdown. How much better off would we be if we'd locked down 2 or 3 weeks earlier (and properly locked down the borders)?Frustrating thing is, based on the trends, they probably only needed a couple of weeks more, anyway.
Got a couple of mates who live over there and they've been posting about it. The difference when you compare the response to the outbreak in Leicester is staggering.Australia locked down Melbourne they had 76 positive tests yesterday
Well we still don't have any new cases, with the hard lockdown and people actually obeying the rules it has worked here. In Fuerteventura they are having daily cases but only from refugees coming over on their small dingys.Fran e almost 1000
Spain increasing
Germany over 400
I’m sure saddle and Dom can sort this out with a supply of Johnson’s optimism
