Stannah stairlifts go that quick do they Otis?!

:)
I had to get one for my own safety in the end. My missus would always stand behind me as I came down the stairs and push me in the back, hoping I'd tumble and break my neck.

Much happier being the tortoise and not the hare in this instance

Literally just realised that this is a 12.30pm KO. Didn't factor that in when picking my sons second game.

Early start from Portsmouth it is then!
Nightmare the other way round when my lad and I came down for the 12.30 KO pre-Christmas.

My lad wants to go the family zone area before KO (if that's a thing for early KOs) so I think we'll need to leave around 8/8.30am so you win!
If you haven't been going to home games recently, don't underestimate the time now required to get through the various traffic problems.

He’s set up every game not to lose.

We sit off teams, we defend deep, every players first thought when they receive the ball is to play safe or backwards.

His subs tonight they don’t try to change any issues they’re all just like for like.

Absolutely pathetic line up, pathetic approach and pathetic in game management.

We’ve fallen for a one club wonder yet again.

Same.

After all the hope and expectation of the pre-season, that has to be one of the most deflating results I can remember.
Yeah and we had them pinned back after half time and Stoke barely got out of their own half.

They suddenly got one breakaway and scored from it and then we just immediately crumbled, like all our stuffing had been knocked out of us and they absolutely cruised the last 10 mins or so.

In fairness, Stoke’s team is pretty tragic so it wouldn’t surprise me he’s being cautious.

My gut instinct is that Robins would struggle to replicate his success with us at another Championship club.

His authority was so high before he got to the Championship, he was unassailable in this role and the single most important person at the club. Any disputes with players and he wins, that wouldn’t be the case with any other club in this division. Especially at a club like Stoke who churn through managers and frankly, are the definition of a middling-Championship club.

Stoke was a horrible fit and ironically had he waited for the Derby job, would’ve been a better fit.

Stoke are clearly a poor team, but MR ought to know our players strenths and weaknesses well enough to potentially make it difficult for us. A nice early goal could be more important than usual.

I'm thinking someone like Peterborough would of suited him, don't know why maybe because they don't chop and change managers like Stoke and others

It feels like he rushed into his next role and if he gets sacked soon, it really damages his reputation. Much in the same way, ironically, Lampard took on his ill-fated 2nd spell at Chelsea. The narrative around MR will be ‘how did he not get Cov promoted with Vik and Hamer?!’ He’ll likely need a job a to rebuild that reputation with us.

Ironically, it’s become a real possibility that if we beat Stoke when we play them, that’ll be the final nail in the coffin for Robins. Without wanting to seem too ruthless, I hope we put Stoke to the sword (as well as Oxford and Derby).

Yup. Just need to beat them. We can feel sorry for him after.

Do people really think if we hammer them, he's going to be doing a lap of honour?

Of course not but I think a display of mutual respect and affection would be appropriate.

MR achieved fantastic things for us in the most difficult of circumstances and for that he deserves to go down in history as a true club legend.

I hope he does😂

Robins wouldn’t even make it back to the changing room before being sacked if he did that. He’s going to be under a lot of pressure for that game and fighting for his survival so it’s going to be 100% business from his end.

If he loses to Watford by 2 or more goals, again… he’ll probably be sacked.

The clayheads ain't very happy. Funniest post I read on their forum tonight was ..

You’d think the way we set up and played today that Boro were 12 points clear at the top, not on a 5 game losing run. Typical charity given out by us again.
I’d rather let Edward Scissorhands wank me off than watch us atm.
