no atmosphere from either set of supporters.

Sheaf playing well, Shipley too. Kane looks like he’s trying too hard, same as when he first came. Hamer having a poor game but has no understudy so that’s irrelevant. Waghorn for Allen then Bidwell for Shipley.

Well either draw this or lose 0-3.

Think both teams are pretty similar, counter attacking fast, leaving their defence a bit exposed and for the vast majority of that half we were the better team. Biggest difference for me has been that that their forwards are quicker than our slow defence so are finding an extra yard that ours haven't. Sheaf and Allen have played well. Kane's corners have been good but his crossing woeful. Worried about Willock 1 on 1 as the game stretches in the 2nd half.

Played well first half, but can’t take our chances again. It could have been 4-4 at half time.

Enjoyable half of football. Could have gone either way but we’re lucky not to be 2-0 down as that was a sitter that Wallace fired over.

Kane too eager to impress which has impacted his end product despite getting in some promising positions - needs to calm down a touch.

Another good half from Sheaf including a superb early pass for Allen who has looked lovely but I never think he’s going to score; hope he proves me wrong.

Plenty of scope for O’Hare and Hamer to do more. Moore showing why he’s no1.

Ref has done well - got penalty calls correct and has let the game flow.

9 key passes says a lot about that first half compared to 4 from QPR. Hopefully will put our finishing boots on after the break.

Need a proper left wing back. Need Waghorn on and Fadz off for Rose.

They’ve had 3 clear cut chances and unless we start concentrating at the back we could derail a come back with another cheap goal.

Definitely leave Allen staying on and O’Hare off if COH is carrying a knock. Can’t risk him getting injured.

The problem with hamer is expectation - the notion he’s done premier league player in the making is rubbish

he’s a solid championship player - high energy, wants to be involved and sometimes will deliver. People just need to stop the nonsense hype as he’s never on a premier clubs radar - he’s not having a bad game and may pluck a pass out that counts

Agree with this. Also, people have to realise it's a midfielders job to commit a foul when they lose the ball. It's probably written into his contract or something.

Another game where we go in behind where we deserved to be ahead. The got very lucky with the double save from Gyokeres. Him and Allen have linked really well. Shame about the finishing. Offensively Shipley doing well. Kane not so.
Rose gives some much needed pace at the back which we are struggling with without him.
Grey had missed a 1v1 literally 2 minutes before the goal. He lifts it, Moore has no chance. We could have and probably should have been 2 down within the first 6 mins.

I think that’s fair

I'd agree with that. We're going toe to toe with "playoff rivals" and we looked a better team for most of that half.

But as you say, last 10 mins it could have been 2-0 quite easily 😇
I think it’s easy to look the better side when the opposition take the lead after 6 minutes and are happy to sit on it for a while. They looked a fair bit better than us when they stepped it up for the last 10

Agree above but I wouldn't take off Allen.

Problems all round. Shipley will now be targeted, you do have the horrible feeling Gyokeres was a flash in the pan and he’s regressing - you bet the feeling QPR have another gear but somehow we have to get better control, last 10 minutes they’ve had all the possession

The positive is it’s 1 nil. Waghorn has to come on and we go two up

Viks run of goals might well have been but as a player, no. Young lad, strong, runs the channels, still learning, decent player. Agree about getting Waghorn up top as well though

They definitely did not look "happy to sit on it for a while" if you're honest, did they?

They had a decent ten minute spell of possession.

Basically if we were in their position, you also wouldn't be happy.
