You’re right. It’s also true that if you’re unsure as a defender, you punt it out.

Collins has been nominated as the scapegoat and whilst I think he’s not good enough, it doesn’t absolve Kitching from his part in the debacle. He look vulnerable in parts today.

The problem for the second was completely Collins fault, Kitching was under no pressure and he pulls out of a header as Collins was closing the space and left him no room to operate.

Where Collins was going for the first is anyone's guess, runs past a centre back to leave an open goal.

He's an absolutely atrocious keeper, between him, Latibeaudiere and Binks, they got Robins the sack, if Lampard continues to pick Collins he'll be getting him the sack as well.

I thought we had a decent game plan tbh, get an early goal, and then exploit the space Burnley would leave chasing the game. We gifted them two goals today but if we were too play them in the play off final, I wouldn't be dreading it at all. I think we'd give them a decent game where either of Leeds or Sheff Utd would embarrass us.

Totally agree. Whilst I think Robins lost his marbles towards the end, some players did let him down. This, and the decision to make Sheaf captain also massively shocking. Decisions that certainly left us in the shit.

Today was undoubtedly down to two moments of pure cuckoldry, but we weren't far off. I think in a final we could have a go at anyone, as long as we are smarter than we were today.

We are not going to be able to hold onto MVE I thought he was awesome and has the speed of a premiership player.

And with VAR to stop Burnley if required

Overall, we played well and imo were good value for a draw. Frankly, they didn’t really threaten us that much - they were ruthless when we presented them with two gifts for goals.

I’m not sticking up for Collins when I’m pointing out that Kitching was also at fault. One of them should’ve dealt with it and they didn’t. That’s a fair take.

Collins put Kitching in that situation.
Seen it back numerous times from numerous angles.
Kitching scanned for where the attackers were got in a good position. Was due to head it back - correct decision for where the ball was.
Collins decided to come out of his box, Kitching then had to hesitate, pulled out of the header. Nothing then he could do as Collins was on top of him. Collins got to the ball but fluffed his clearance, hitting it against his own leg, then half heartedly challes the Burnley player.

Poor poor decision making.

He did not need to come that far out.

For the first goal, Collins decision to commit himself towards the ball also caused Bobby Thomas (looks like there may have been a call from Collins looking at Thomas's bodily reaction/shape) to check his run. Taking them both out of the game

Watch the goals back.

Both caused by horrendous decision making by Collins.

Both goals - Collins positions himself appropriately they probably - 1st goal and definitely -2nd goal, don't happen.

The writing was on the wall was there for Collins before Dovin’s injury.

I’m perplexed Wilson has been offered a new contract if he’s presumably 3rd choice. Is he still injured?

GK is going to be priority signing in the summer which is such a shame because Dovin is an excellent talent.

Watch it again. It’s a simple head back to the keeper….if Collins stays in his fucking box.

Bizarre decision to come out when it’s literally head height for Kitching ready to do what happens very often in a game, head back to keepers hands.

Gave Kitching no time to react, albeit he did react badly but it is completely down to the piss poor decision making of Collins.

Well it was always a case of them shutting up shop once we again gifted them 2 goals. Unfortunately we have Collins in goal for the rest of the season and if he wasn’t already a bag of nerves before today, you can bet you’re bottom dollar we’ll see it against Portsmouth.
Absolute car crash of a keeper.
