It was a lucky draw at home to a team that's lost 4 of their last 5 & only due to a highly dubious penalty. What new things did you see that gave cause for optimism? They were hardly radical changes and did we really want his first Thane to be a game where he did nothing new at all?
We drew. We dominated possession. Yes it wasn't all great but fuck me it was a draw and only his first game. More reasons to be optimistic than pessimistic
Neither of them did.Wednesday did for the most part, Utd not so much
Kitching has a good pass on him tbfBecause binks can pass a ball is why I reckon they keep picking him
Seems to be carrying him a long way
The lack of goals from midfield both last season and this more so just isn’t good enough. Sheaf technically gifted but a couple of goals a season is the reason why he’s in the championship. He’s no captain either.
I rate Torp to take his place, he can find a pass, shows more desire, gets into more attaching positions and can break up play too. If he had some pace he would be even better.
Neither of them did.
But in the usual SBT crying frenzy looks like we’re as good as relegated already, so what does it matter.
How many games did they play?We kept clean sheets with Lawrence and Viveash not a particular set of players.
How many games did they play?
It's a fresh start with a new coaching team. First game was rough but not terrible (especially 1st half). A well taken second goal took the wind out, but think we can be optimistic there'll be no wool pulled interms of FL and teams view of the issues. Now they can affect individuals, attitude, system and recruitment in Jan.It was a lucky draw at home to a team that's lost 4 of their last 5 & only due to a highly dubious penalty. Yes, if it doesn't come out that he was ill or carrying a knock today then his performance was his worst for a very long time.... possibly ever.Until 2 games ago Eccles player of the season for me.
Dogshit v Burnley, steaming pile of dogshit today

Completely agree, Cardiff outplayed us second half. We dominated possession, but it was mainly between the back in which they didn't press, let us have the ball and waited for us to make a mistake. And we were so slow on the ball.
It was terrible in first game terms. In comparison with our performance at home seven days ago it was horrendous. It's a fresh start with a new coaching team. Since when did Clive turn into Kurt Cobain? Looks like he's going through a smack addiction.
Frank Lampards Coventry City
The good the bad and the ugly.
Good
1. DaSilva had some good possession and forward play, drifting into the middle quite a few times.
2. Sakamoto had a really good first half, he was picking up quite a few loose balls in Cardiff's half.
3. EMC had a good overall game and is gaining in confidence, good goal too.
4. The new formation seemed fairly effective and suited most players natural games.
5. Both Torp and Simms looked good when they came on.
6. Torp is a cool cat taking penalties.
7. Asante was a useful out once he came on.
Bad
1. Milan's form has tanked and we have no ready replacement.
2. DaSilva was struggling early on when he was having to cover a 6ft pacey attacker.
3. Sheaf was again losing the ball too much and deep into the second half was stretching his hamstrings, is he unfit?
4. Saka got tired in the second half
5. Eccles did not live up to his recent form.
6. The defenders stand off the opposition far to much
Ugly
1. The midfield is not covering the defence adequately, look at Cardiff's 2nd goal, Rudoni lost the scorer who was lurking behind him.
2. Collins can't shot stop for toffee, he has got nowhere near the goals he has let in.

I didn't say no chance, I said I'd be stunned. Just as I was stunned we got anything at Sunderland.Stunned? We went to Sunderland and didn't lose. But no chance of beating Millwall?
Since when did Clive turn into Kurt Cobain? Looks like he's going through a smack addiction.
Exactly, Cardiff are a very poor side. Had we turned in a performance like last week we'd have won comfortably. Instead we made some strange tactical decisions & the players just looked confused. It was terrible in first game terms. In comparison with our performance at home seven days ago it was horrendous.
The 35 year old in a 60 year old's body aka Barry Bannan was the best player on the pitch by some distance. We were outplayed by them, pure and simple.“Sheffield” did not ‘play us off the park’ at all, that’s hysterical rubbish
I'd like to hear more from @procdoc about how his professional wrastlin' debut went today.
Pretty gutted we didn’t show a bit more but you might have a pointI don't really understand the negativity
This performance under robins would have seen ppl angry but vast majority never really worried so much they wanted him gone
This performance under Carr would have been seen as decent
But the first game for a new manager and because it's not perfect it's panic stations?
Don't get it
