Not even doing that, we set up a goal for them. They were terrible and we were somehow worse. It’s alarming.

That’s where it comes from though. Same as the shit passing. Too scared to play because they’ll win the ball, too quick to pass it off to someone else and run away.

I just always think there is an overreaction in here when we lose.

We didn't play well. We gifted them a goal and it made the task that much harder.

We should have had two penalties though. That would have turned the game.

It was poor tonight, but that doesn't mean we are a poor side in general. Just were tonight.

Before this we just beat Luton and Middlesbrough. Two very good sides.
But were poor for weeks before then

There is having a game plan and there is having a game plan that works. Our plan tonight appeared to be to stroll around the pitch, moving the ball as slowly as possibly, assuming lowly Derby would eventually roll over for us.

Every team has a game plan .. simple as that .

Wether it works or not is another matter

Ref should yellow card every one of our players that tries to take 800 touches and amble round the centre circle like a pensioner trying to find his way to the pub toilet after pissing himself.

Unfortunately Mark I can't give you the managers tactics and individual instructions but you can be sure they worked on something and tonight it hasn't worked .

football managers don't just put 11 players on the pitch and say go win
Surely if the plan isn't working, then things get changed. There wasn't much coming from the bench tonight. I know you've nailed your colours to the mast, wrt Robins, and we all love him for what he's done. He'll always be a legend. It's time for someone else to come in now surely. He's taken us as far as he can now.

That's why it should always be adjusted during the game.

It's like against Swansea when they attacked down our right. Everybody in the ground could see it and we did fuck all. They scored from it and the fans boo'd.

The plan wasn't working and we changed our entire formation second half , wether that was a bit later than it should have been is again another thing entirely

I disagree with you Mark, cheers

I don't always agree with the call to change things but today I thought weleft it late ..

Yeah too little too late.

The fact we are talking about it like it's a big thing just shows how alien it us for us.

Tonight really proved this team for what they are

any proper team would build on good performances to be fair the last game and a half and really start turning it up a gear

but no another false dawn

reason it’s a false dawn is because we’re just not very good

There was a plan. The players didn’t follow it. That’s what Robins said. We didn’t use the space out wide, we wasted possession with bad decisions, we didn’t move the ball quick enough or move them around off the ball.

And robins Is correct but he probably should have changed it a bit sooner today

The goal changed any game plan, they sat back and wasted time/broke momentum for 80+ mins, then got another flukey one against the run of play. Once they did that we were never going to have the right quality to break them down and haven’t ever since Robins has been here TBF. But especially with all the creativity we’ve lost recently.

Shower of shite once again, can only beat a team when they are down to 10 men. Lati & BTA should be no where near that team on Saturday, West Brom have had our pants down

Until that happens we're at a disadvantage, we need to do everything we can to stay up, if it means crowding the ref, bullying linos or keepers faking injury, we need to do it.
Yeah, I get it. Just cannot abide it. Really puts me off the sport to be honest.

Needs a serious look at by the footballing authorities.

Just got home after watching that pile of shite.

Sick of listening to Oggy on the way home. Apparently it was always going to be difficult playing Derby as they are a team fighting for their lives. As we were on the same points tally before tonight, shouldn’t our team have also been fighting for their lives?

And then Robins, admitting we deserved nothing but telling us about all the things the players didn’t do. What the fuck are the coach load of coaches and the performance director doing with the players?

What the fuck have the recruitment team done, throwing all that money at fucking garbage.

I‘m sick of spineless fucking referees and decorative linesmen being shit at their jobs as well. Fourth officials are a fucking disgrace as well - 2 minutes added time first half my arse. And then Eccles gets booked for dissent - is it any wonder, really,

I‘m sick of Ben Sheaf as captain. He has got as much passion as a half house brick and some of his passing looks like it’s been made by one.

I‘m a tad pissed off as I’m sure you can tell.

Doesn't matter if it was a penalty or not.

Doesn't matter if it was offside or not.

You play like that, you deserve fuck all.
It does matter actually, both given and we win 2-1.
Still would have been a shite performance though.

Final half an hour was a good show and we just couldnt break them down as their tactic was 8 men on the edge of their box and everyone behind the ball, an equaliser was certainly coming. If we played the full 90 like that we may have walked out with 3 points. Unfortunate deflection and lino’s inability to keep up with play contributed to their 2nd goal

It’s really clear. You play Torp if it’s five at the back. Saka if it’s 4. Why is that so difficult for them to see. Personally I hope that’s the end of the five at the back scenario.
Not enough coaching staff to work that one out,
