I’m not bothering. Getting away from the ground is a nightmare . Nowhere to park near the ground , and where there is parking it’s a rip off . Public transport is a waste of time and rail links are few and far between.

Eh? You're suggesting SBT thinks we'll lose and therefore Robins should go.
What's not logical?
(Not that I agree with it)
If it's not a game we expect to win then why should it be the deciding factor as to Robins keeps his job

Not sure what logical flaw you’re seeing, people who want robins gone obviously think he’s not getting the most out of the players and therefore will lose to Luton.
Or they’re saying what they think will happen instead of what they want to happen.

The performance will be as important as the result for the owner I suspect.

We need to show signs of becoming a coherent team.

No we just need to try and win the football match , not play like Barcelona

I think that might be a fans view but as the owner you are assessing whether the manager is working effectively with the players and whether you believe things will turn round.

Being totally outplayed but winning 1-0 through an own goal ( to be extreme ) wouldn’t convince you of that.

Luton are (like us ) despite their league position an early favourite for the playoffs .

A win of any nature against them is all that matters

3 points mate , don't matter how
At this point it does matter how.

If they miss a load of chances and we score our only one it's still worrying. Our performance has gone steadily downhill since Blackburn, we're getting worse not better.

I totally disagree. We are 10 matches in, not 5 matches from the end. How we play is important to whether we are turning the corner or not. Winning or losing on Saturday won’t define our season.
I'd rather win and play poorly than lose and play well .. end of discussion

As I've just said , win and play poor or lose and play well ?

A win is the only thing that matters

Has this forum descended into such a farce that performance is more important than the result ?

il be sure to pull some up if we play well and lose and they moan

Obviously a win is better than a loss.

But scraping a win with a poor performance isn't going to increase my optimism for the season. We could've got a win on Tuesday, would still have been a crap performance.

At this point I'm pretty resigned to the fact we're not getting top 6, I really don't see us getting relegated so I guess nothing actually matters at all really.

I'm sure your optimism isn't related to anything other than your own feelings .. a win however it may come would do us the world of good right now

That’s fair enough. Owners tend to take a longer term view than that, so do many fans.

I'm pretty sure Mark robins won't be losing his job if we play poor and win Saturday .

I'm also pretty sure most fans won't look beyond the 3 points should we win

And tbh I think the Blackburn win was more that Blackburn didn’t turn up rather us playing them off the park. We definitely played better that game but I don’t think it was anything close to being stellar. I remember saying to my old man during the first 15 mins how poor Blackburn were playing and that I couldn’t understand how they were top 3 at the time given their performance at the CBS. I’d say the only game this season we played better than expected was against Spurs.

So match tactics, I think let’s go a bit of a blast from the past and go for the League 2 4-2-4.

Gameplay would be, hit the wings quickly on the break, the rest can tuck in and protect against the transition. Not meant to be pretty or have much the ball but feel we could hurt teams on the break as we did with QPR or Blackburn.

Werid change would be luis Binks, but this allows for height to protect against Luton and means if Milan wants to go up, we have three Cbs to protect the ball. Happy to swap Kitching and Binks but think Binks is better with the ball so would allow some service to mason.

Simms and Wright up front but not sold on this and would happily change with any maybe Thomas for his

Stay at home. 🤣
Car Park C. Get a driver. Stay behind after the match & celebrate the win... have 3 or 4 pints. Walk to car park. Will be empty.

Some interesting stats really, we spend a lot of time in the opposition's final third 6th highest, and 6th lowest amount of time that the opposition spend in our third. All points again to the same conclusion really, our goals to shots ratio against is too high and goals to shots ratio for is too low. I would be more worried if we just didn't spend any time in the opposition third or spent most of the game trying to defend as it is unsustainable.

This is actually a) reassuring and b) validates how i've felt watching quite a few of our games where we just seem to give really shitty goals away and never seem to be putting chances away (or sometimes not being brave enough and having a shot).

It might do but I actually think we’re on the wrong path with the 532. We’re playing worse in it than we were with 4 at the back, if we play it on Saturday and win it could do us more harm than good.

I have been vocal in my support for 352 and don't believe it stops working. And it's also used by very attacking teams on Europe.

That said I agree with you we look worse with it from an attacking standpoint and yeah we really need to sort performances out even though PTS tally is important
