Luton battered scumberland last night , look at the stats , very unlucky not to have won by a large margin. Scumberland got lucky . I fear they will batter us . Hope to fuck I am well and truly put in my boxExactly. We've won 2, they've won 3.
We shouldn't fear them, or expect defeat. They are clearly struggling too.
He’s going to lose his job if we don’t start consistently playing well. You can’t scrape a win every week.I'm pretty sure Mark robins won't be losing his job if we play poor and win Saturday .
I'm also pretty sure most fans won't look beyond the 3 points should we win
Nobody is getting sacked if they scrape wins every weekHe’s going to lose his job if we don’t start consistently playing well. You can’t scrape a win every week.
Well seeing as it is impossible I guess we'll never know.Nobody is getting sacked if they scrape wins every week

That is simply not true is it?We need to fly out the blocks using MR language we have had an extra day's rest ( so no excuse there) Bassette and Asante up front for me .We lose fear the worst. We are not a different team from last year, even signed better players so what's the fucking problem. EMC can't be that bad play him in his nature natural position. Forget about your big earners as they are not performing.
Drop Wright because? We don't like scoring goals?Dovin
Van Erwijk Latibeudiere Binks DaSilva
Sheaf Rudoni
Torp
Sakamoto Thomas-Asante Bassette
Not going to be but I would like it to be
You'd have to be an utter fool to leave out our biggest goal threatDrop Wright because? We don't like scoring goals?
...for a kid with 0 goals at this level. Some of our fans seem to think that 'looking busy' and 'shouting at your team mates' are the two key attributes to look for in a striker. Wright fails both tests. You'd have to be an utter fool to leave out our biggest goal threat

Dovin
MvE - Thomas - Kitching - Dasilva
Eccles - Rudoni - Sheaf
Sakamoto - Simms - Wright
Eccles will surely be missing for this one won't he?The one change I would make to that is to put EM-C in for Simms.
EM-C has to play in his preferred position on the left, which means moving Wright to the central striker position.
I know Wright has been better since he was moved to the left but we bought him as a striker and surely he has to be a better option than Simms at the moment.
I honestly don’t know if Wright’s improved form last year was because he was moved to the left (though I accept that timewise it coincided) or because he had settled in by then.

You have missed the point of what he said too. Some people are that desperate to get rid of Robins that turning it round and winning won't be good enough for them, we have to morph into Puskas's Real Madrid while doing it, and even if we do they'll move the goalposts again.

He is saying you can't play poor and win every week. And he's right. Once in a while yes. Mark of champions and all that. But not consistently
Too many people looking to attack that poster as they see him as anti robins I think. Not actually reading his posts
Literally no one is saying this. Some people are that desperate to get rid of Robins that turning it round and winning won't be good enough for them, we have to morph into Puskas's Real Madrid while doing it, and even if we do they'll move the goalposts again.

People are saying we need to see signs of an improved team performance. Hardly reaching for the stars is it.
I agree but I’ll leave thinking we have more chance of building on it if we have played better rather if we have been poor again but scraped a win.I think we need wins.
And even if we win tomorrow I won't be that happy because there's no guarantee we'll build on it, like we didn't with Blackburn.

Hope our flock of coaches are reading this.Fighting for every ball, tracking runners, making third man runs, not giving away soft goals would all be an improvement …. It’s not all about passing fluidity. That can come later.
He's fit but he's not match sharp yetIs Sheaf truly fully fit yet or playing catch up for game time missed? He is crucial but doesnt seem to be at his best
So, I do feel Wright is not physical enough to play the central role and if he is scoring goals where he is - why move him. I've nothing against EMC and do feel a bit sorry for him, I don't mind 3-4-3 or 4-4-2 or whatever being considered in the future but right now I feel like we need to stop experimenting. It all looks far to random and unrehearsed at the moment when things go wrong. The one change I would make to that is to put EM-C in for Simms.
I've missed this. Trying to think back to the game. Remember he was subbed off for Torp but otherwise blanking. What happened to him?Eccles will surely be missing for this one won't he?
Have we had any update on him?
Yeah there is an argument for both pts or performance being more of a priority. We just need to start picking up points.
We did it when we first came up, scraping out points playing pretty turgid football and the attractive football followed.
As unpalatable as it may seem, I think that's what we need to get back to, and I stand by the post you replied to, there are people who seem desperate for Robins to go, in my opinion.
1. There's no way this squad should be in a relegation battle like we were when we first came up.We just need to start picking up points.

Point 2 is just false1. There's no way this squad should be in a relegation battle like we were when we first came up.
2. We've basically never played attractive football under Robins.
