I think it'll be a solid performance from us, once again proving we're better against the better teams where there's space to play.

Going for 4-0. Jones x2, Pontiac and biamou.

Dare I say it that Mansfield haven't won for 5 in the league, however I think we have enough about us to claim the three points so going for a 1-0 win (Haynes)

We’re not going to win this, our run is too good and theirs too bad. Regression to the norm: 1-1 draw.

From all accounts they will have a fair few behind them. We could hope for the Cov effect in reverse and Mansfield fail to perform in front of an expectant crowd?

our record vs promotion rivals is very good so far and mansfield were fancied by a few(not me) on here to get promoted

draw not end of world but i think we will win 2-0 (jones, mcnulty)

I know they were fancied early on but that seemed to have been because of Evans and a few quid floating around. Seems average so far.

So here's my bets:

Ponticelli first goal and 2-0
Us to win and Rod McDonald to score at any time

Confidence see!

Not sure. Saturday afternoon. League Two. Local-ish oppposition with away support likely to be very good 1,500-2,000. No special ticket offers. Still £24-26 pay on the gate and up to £10.20 for official car parking. Likely Cov fan interest boosted by the away win at Luton but then somewhat balanced by those uninspiring home cup wins against Maidenhead United and WBA u23s. So lets be optimistic and say 9,000-9,500. One team who could still do something in this league, but who flatter to deceive and unfortunately struggle to score, against an average team fancied by some for automatic promotion before the season started but who have so far been disappointing, who have gone five league games without a win since beating Notts Co. 3-1 at home, but who have in that time managed away draws at Newport, Exeter and Barnet and cup wins against Everton u23s and the mighty Shaw Lane Association. Overall, I hate to say it, but two very similar teams. We need to score first again. 0-0, 1-0, 0-1, 1-1, 2-0, 2-1, 1-2, 2-2, 3-0, 3-1, 3-2.

2-0 to us, Mansfield are one of the few teams in this league that like to play football and take the game the opposition.

Looking forward to the game today, which normally ends in disappointment but I’ll hope today is different.

I’m going for 3-1, Ponti, Jones, McDonald.

I think Mansfield will play similar to Luton and want to attack us from the off; and for that reason I think we will pick up the 3 points!

Would like to see a few more goals, I’d take another 3, but if we can get more, and we will at some point, I’ll be happy :)

Not too confident today. They are a decent team with a good following and may sneak a 1-0. A draw would be ok. Hope I’m just pessimistic after a couple of good results.
