Ref was a c**t

Simms a lazy fucker and Hasnt kicked on

The rest of them fantastic, especially Tats MVE and Ayari

Shout out to the SBA, place was pumping again, and if Tats diving header had gone in the place would have shook!

Pleased with where we are. Literally a full squad to choose from after the break.

Onwards and upwards
MVE initially thought to be out the longest, comes back the earliest. What a guy

As I’ve said time and time again we just don’t create enough chances. I’m actually coming round to the idea that it doesn’t matter what striker we play, they’re all of a similar ability, maybe Wright not quite there yet but either way none of it matters unless you actually supply your strikers with quality through balls. I didn’t see a single tricky, quality ball come into their box through the midfield until right at the end of the game. Way way way too predictable once again.

I’m not arsed what striker we squabble over, I’m arsed about our midfield stepping up, having a shot, dribble a bit, pass and go, run into space, that’s the real issue.

What i will say on haji wright , which was laughed off by a fan on here the other day , is there's still plenty of time to work with him to try and mould him into the player we want him to be , its still too early to write him off but he has to work hard to become the player we need him to be
Yeah Oggy made the comparison with Biamou when he signed and his utter uselessness off the ball, but we worked with him and improved that almost infinitely to the point where he played Championship. So presuming that Wright starts with a higher talent base...you'd think we can work him into something. Maybe that's what the 4 year contract was for?

Simms lazy? Wasn’t great today by any stretch. But what about Wright who genuinely looked like Yakubu at times.

Btw matty godden has blocked several fans on twitter for their targeted continued abuse of him .. you will be surprised to know that's also made them unhappy too

Considering he’s just come back from injury MVE offered us exactly what we needed and Norwich just got deeper and deeper.

Bizarre behaviour

Multiple Matty Godden songs from Singer’s Corner today before he even came on, he’s clearly still one of the most popular players in the squad

...but we desperately need to get more out of the strikers we’ve spent so much money on.
Would you want less from them if they'd be freebies? Fees don't come into it. Either they perform and get games or they don't. Sounds like Wright shouldn't be near a starting spot after today.

There's a hint of shyness to Wright in the "behind the scenes" videos. Once his confidence is up, more time with the coaches, and he's got O'Hare and Sheaf behind him, I reckon he'll come good. His work rate off the ball needs a fair bit of improving though, that's why Godden has to be starter
I think we can agree that Wright is definitely third choice striker now.

Until we bring in another striker, then he'll be fourth.

You can’t train or mould Simms or Wright, they cost a fortune at our level and they’re both lazy,, both shit in the air, neither come for the ball, neither chase down the defenders , they both smack the ball into defenders legs at every glimpse of goal.
in short someone should fess up and say we’ve been done !

Yes, you'd accept less from them if they were free, of course.
