Do we? Unless you're counting the old and new buildings on the site as two seperate cathedrals.Don't we?
The song is a complete rip off from Liverpool, which the lyrics make far more sense in relation to.

People always assume the old and new Cathedrals are different churches.Do we? Unless you're counting the old and new buildings on the site as two seperate cathedrals.

If you want to get yourself up for tomorrow, have a look at this from an Oxford fan ! (will sing WLADITT with a bit more gusto at kick off).
**k em mate. f**k Coventry. All they're famous for is getting bombed in World War II.
I thought we would take more if I'm honest, as it looks like somewhere between 1,500/2,000 will be going. Saturday 3pm and not on Sky, and we'd have sold out. I think it is a pretty unattractive game for our first game back up, but that shouldn't really matter. I reckon we'll see that tomorrow's Oxford crowd will be many from a certain age, like you and me, who've waited a long time for this and are determined not to miss a minute of this season. I think a lot of the younger generation, who've only been going a few years, might not realise just how significant this game is?
What I do know is that when God handed out birthrights I'm f*****g glad mine said Oxfordshire on it and not Coventry. We'll be there, and we'll be proud, and if any Coventry t**t wants to try and take the P**s, bring it on. Lady Godiva can f**k off too.
They may have 20,000 more fans there than us, but at 10pm we'll have six more points than them, and be top of the league!
Central defence: Thomas plus one of Binks & Kitchen. After Tuesday I vote Kitchen. He could have been 1st choice for Stoke but for suspension. We don't know

Oh go on, you know you want toI haven't put the team on here though, I haven't done that for months
Ah yes, comparing a Sunday lunchtime game in 2018, 2 weeks after we played you in the League Cup and when our club was at it's lowest point to Oxford playing at their highest level in 24 years.
I am not saying the season would be over, but having lost the opening game losing this would put us behind already. Given how we start every season shite we need to do better if we are to get promotedCome on, one swallow doesn't make a season. You are usually a bit saner than this. We should be winning these games of course but not doing so doesn't mean the season is over.
Birmingham, Bristol, Sheffield, London, Norwich Salford Gt.Manchester amongst others can all claim to have 2 and have weird accentsThey are two separate cathedrals. And our accent is rarer than theirs. Picking on this song out of all our repertoire is just weird.
Operative words are have hadIf we are going to be really pedantic Coventry have had 3 cathedrals in its history

You are of course spot on. When you have a low away crowd there are mitigating reasons and it doesn’t really count.
… When other teams take triple that number then it’s “pathetic” / “piss poor” etc.
I think you may be manifesting the reality you want to see here. Enjoy the game. I’ll be watching on Paramount+ from my sofa counting all the extra legroom our fans have .

Good point. I’ll leave you guys to get back to debating how many Cathedrals your city has.Are all of you lot this boring?
I mean, he's got us thereGood point. I’ll leave you guys to get back to debating how many Cathedrals your city has.
Definitely only giving St Mary's of the two ruins, though2 is fine, but when you have 3 you can claim to have a spare one
And fairly heretical! They are two separate cathedrals. And our accent is rarer than theirs. Picking on this song out of all our repertoire is just weird.
The mood has been dictated by the performance in the first two games, the Stoke game especially. The preseason optimism has been replaced with pre match nervousness and negativity around this one, which is a bit hard to fathom if I’m honest after just one meaningful game…
First home game of the season, decent day weather wise, good crowd in fine voice, and whichever permutation MR puts on the pitch should have more than enough given the quality invested in and the experience they have. No game is easy and I’m sure they will carry a threat at times (as all teams will in this league). 2 or 3 nil win.
Dread to think the thought processes of some, if we were playing against anyone with championship pedigree.
exactly as many if you include St MarysNearly as many stands your stadium has.....
How’s it hard to fathom, we were shit opening day and now have a home game against a side we scored 6 against last season. It should be a routine win, anything less is worrying. The preseason optimism has been replaced with pre match nervousness and negativity around this one, which is a bit hard to fathom if I’m honest after just one meaningful game…

What running gear you get?Just been to the club shop to buy a few bits for running in etc - spent way too much (dangerous being on AL the day of a game and no kids at home to entertain!); it’s absolutely buzzing around the ground, I saw queues coming out of the ticket office and the shop was pretty busy too.
Such a different vibe (hate that word) around the club these days.
Even more excited for later now.
There's still a seat available on the Oxford fans minibusYou are of course spot on. When you have a low away crowd there are mitigating reasons and it doesn’t really count.

should be 2/3-0 minimum reallyLet's be honest
If we have top 6 ambitions we have to be turning over Oxford at home it's that simple
There current team bares very little resemblance to the one we beat 6-2 though and very poor performance against Stoke hasnt helped mattersHow’s it hard to fathom, we were shit opening day and now have a home game against a side we scored 6 against last season.
