Yes he was but when he then crossed the ball into the centre of goal it was a forward pass to the goal scorer, slightly but it was still a forward pass and the goal shouldn't have stood

I thought that the Lino down by us (dugout) side was simply the worst I’ve seen for many a year. Constantly behind play and clearly guessing (wrongly) on too many occasionsLino is miles behind the play as well
Let's just call it for what it is, bad defending, defenders ball watching, letting their center forward run into the penalty area unchallenged.
No I'm on about way back in the build up.
It was like a kids game when one of the parents runs the line and cheats. They cottoned that there was almost zero chance if being flagged offside second half. He was nowhere near the play. The linesman was behind the play which is why he got it wrong.
The Wembley one was crystal clear. They drew an offside line which went along Haji’s toe but Wan-Bissaka’s instep! The evidence they produced pretty much proved Haji was onsideIs that precisely when the pass was made. It’s the problem with stills, only need to be a fraction out and makes a huge difference in perspective of positioning - as at Wembley.
He looked like Chris Mccausland to me!I thought that the Lino down by us (dugout) side was simply the worst I’ve seen for many a year. Constantly behind play and clearly guessing (wrongly) on too many occasions
Not this again! He was offside. The Wembley one was crystal clear. They drew an offside line which went along Haji’s toe but Wan-Bissaka’s instep! The evidence they produced pretty much proved Haji was onside
Saw him live on Friday night. Bloody brilliant he was.He looked like Chris Mccausland to me!
So we've got this still of the lino being perfectly in line to make the (correct) first call. Then people are moaning that he hasn't kept up with a sprinting championship forward (simultaneously watching the players on the pitch the whole time of course) to again be level when the second pass is made. I suspect the difficulty of the job is being underestimated a bit
