Pretty much my thoughts for the day too. Question over Allen or Eccles to start. And Bassette or Wright on the bench
I think it Eccles will start simply because Preston are a big, physical team, Allen may come on towards the end if our energy is flagging.

Probably the most disappointed I've been for an attendance for a couple of seasons. Given it's 3pm on a Saturday, not a cat A fixture, we're nearly into March and just outside playoffs, it's looking like it'll be below average. Surprised at that.

There’s been three home games this month and it’s half term, not a massive surprise tbh.

Due to unforseen curcumstances we can't make the game today, which i'm pretty pissed at, but it does mean we'll probably give them an absolute spanking 😂

Don’t worry Ben we’re used to it
Didn't pass a late fitness test, so I am at home for this one. I was going to say, on the plus side, I can watch the early game, the bad news is that it's Everton-Utd. What in the fighting for 14th place is that all about?! Hopefully I don't witness any peculiar incidents from the neighbours from my rear window in the meantime.

Anyway. I feel this is going to be a really drab game and difficult game, isn't it?

I think the seemingly never ending cost of living crisis is playing a part.
I've had 3 notifications this week of bills I pay which will be increasing by 6% plus. If you're getting them and have a mortgage and young family it bites.

I work with a couple of lads who pick and choose their games who are going less than usual and one has cited cost.

Fans need to be up for this and get behind the team. Looking at the table last night made me realise how important that win against Bristol City was. If we'd have lost that, they'd have been 8 points clear of us going into today, rather than 2. Nice win today, and we're ahead of them. So tight up there.
SIX-POINTER ALERT!!!

Does it become a must win game in retrospect?

Must won???

Don't think this can be underestimated. I live alone so no family to pay for but at this point I'm now picking and choosing what events I go to due to cost.

Will be interesting to see how they price season tickets when its renewal time, not sure there's much room for any increases but obviously the clubs bills will be increasing like everyone else's.

Either way we won’t be renewing unless we’re promoted and get the tickets for free. Which isn’t entirely out of the question…

Yeah, I'm sure this is it, a lot of people struggling right now. We've had a lot of home games recently too.

Can't argue with last year's ST prices.

I'm sure you're right and there will be an increase.
My only comment would be, and I said this last year, I'd happy pay a bit more for my ticket if they could do more with concessions for the kids.

No skin in this game anymore but I took advantage of some very cheap kids ST prices when my lot were younger so would happily pay a bit more to help people now.

Just my opinion, others may disagree.
