It'll be around 26k

The fact we now consider that poor is brilliant
To think, the 2 seasons in recent season, where there atmosphere was considered the liveliest, were first one post-covid & play off season and, other than the last couple of games, we were hardly anywhere near that.

If Haji is fit for the bench, then I'd say it's perfect for EMC to start and Haji replace him after 60-70 mins.
Yeah fingers crossed. Ready to go back to 4-3-3 now.

What a bench! could replace a striker on the bench with Eccles but I’ve dropped him because his performance last week pissed me iff

"We could play our youth team and still get a result against Coventry. I’m all for resting players for Burnley, this is the perfect fixture to do so. They haven’t beaten us in the league in their last 21 attempts"

PNE fan feeling confident, arguably with good justification really but calling to weaken their side is a bit of a stretch :D

Maybe we should be the ones fielding a youth team given the forgone conclusion of this fixture.
Save our best team for the Oxford game.

Hope we slap 'em all the way back to Tokyo Joe's.

Id bring Allen, Bidwell and EMC to start and bring Sheaf and Wright back into the squad.

The bench. GK,Binks, Lats, Sheaf, Eccles, Pato, BTA, Wright. Then its between Bassette, Rod, Burroughs or last resort JDS.

Could end up with EMC, Haji and Sheaf all on the bench tomorrow. Keep it tight first 60 then pinch it in last half an hour
I think EMC will start.

Strange attitude isn’t it If they believe they are an outside playoff contender which they seem to then surely beating us would be more worthwhile. They will get fuck all v Burnley whatever they do even if it is their big rivalry.
They drew 0-0 with Burnley 6 days ago.

The concept of a game being 'must-win' is a bit like the argument about whether we are 'in a relagation battle'. It's meaningless, just a cliche. We want to win all games and the more we win the better our chances of whatever we're aiming for. Like the relegation battle, everyone is battling to avoid it from match one. Tomorrow is not 'must-win', no game is.
Surely it isn't true that no game is ever "must win"? There will come a point where if you don't win you won't get enough points to get what you're aiming for, regardless of how badly those teams around you perform.

What's had to get your head round is that the first game of the season is as important as all the rest, yet early season games don't seem to be treated with that same importance and urgency...

I think we will win.

The fact we got the monkey off our back in the form of Swansea, makes me think that we will also get through this challenge ok.

West Brom to have a dour low scoring draw with Oxford, and us to leapfrog them into 6th. Would be fantastic.

I’ve got this feeling that we’re gonna thump them.

May feel different after I’ve been toilet.
