Yeah watching it back it's not like he's ball watching, or on his heels, or facing the wrong way. He was well positioned and anticipated the pass.

It was just a superb pass by Hamer and Sakyi did him for pace.

Not everything has to be down to individual error, sometimes it's just good play by the opposition. Far better players than him have been done by a ball like that.
But he IS quick himself. He was very sluggish in setting off to get ahead of their player.

Just seemed like slow reaction to me.

The second was a stupid pass out, in a dangerous area.

I actually quite like him, but he's liable for so many goals and that's his downfall.

We can't have anyone constantly making errors that result in goals all the time.

Dasilva's fucking dross, isn't he.

Called it at the beginning of the season, you can't go into the season with Da Silva as cover for left back.

Perhaps the new manager will get it sorted.

He gets done frequently like that - he has no pace and can’t switch back once the opposition attack. If you had someone like Mcallum there it wouldn’t happen

I'm not entirely happy we failed to beat 10 men . We should have put 2 up much much sooner and we pass the ball around far too much on the edge of the area to just cross it in anyway .
Yeah. Needed to get the ball in there much more quickly. We did faff about with it quite a lot

its sheafs first season again. Some on here make a player judgement day one and blame everything on that player for the next two years.

Let's face it. A few weeks ago we would have tried to defend the 1-2 and put bassette on after 94 minutes.

No way we would finish the game with 4 up front pretty much.

I agree, we should have done more to win it but I can't be unhappy unbeaten against the top 2, especially as I hate them both and had a sinking feeling heading into the 2 games.

And this is why I will no longer be discussing Jay Dasilva with a bunch of people who can’t spell his name or know what position he plays.

Just watched the goals. The first he’s done for pace but Thomas fails to cut the cross out.
The second was a bad pass. Thomas again fails to come and deal, Collins should have done better. We’ve had this with sheaf a couple of years ago, giving the ball away thirty yards from goal isn’t an instant goal, two or three others had to fail to do their job as well.

I'd need to watch them back, but I've no doubt you're right and others were culpable but Dasilva seems to be involved in a large amount of goals we concede.

He is and maybe it's just bad luck , but he hardly ever gets away with it. It's almost like every mistake he makes results in a goal for the opposition.

Thomas Collins Binks and Lats have made far more serious errors yet never get the post match inquisition Dasilva does.

Looking back it was more him being outpaced. Although I still say he should be getting to the cross better as it was obvious where Rak-Sakyi was going to send it.

The real issue was Lati didn't track Campbell's run and allowed him to get into a goalscoring position.

I'm not entirely sure you're completely wrong with the wing back stuff tbh ..

Im winding people up but the point is that A) I genuinely don’t see how both those goals are down to Dasilva from a neutral POV and B) the entire point of wingbacks is you can be caught up the pitch and the team is set up to account for that.

He’s not even out of position for the first, he’s in a normal left back position and gets done for pace but people are desperate to have a narrative.

On the ball he’s one of the best players in the squad. If we can’t find a place for him in the team it’s criminal TBH. But y’all aren’t ready for that conversation.

Yep, I don't think we pick up a point in both of the past two matches.

Not remotely relevant to the first goal where Da Silva was part of the defensive line and not for the first time was badly exposed

He wasn’t?

If I could win the fight with Skys website I’d take a screenshot and show you. He literally just got done by a good pass and pace. Thomas completely failed to deal with the cross but gets off Scott free.

Algorithm in his United presser yesterday was talking about wing backs and was clear they need to be able to defend
