This performance isn’t perfect but at least they’re showing some desire and working hard. Certainly doesn’t support the rats trying to jump ship accusations.
They do tend to raise their game in matches like these where there aren't points on the line.

It’s cost Robins his job to be honest. He should have kept faith in the team from last season and found a way to integrate EMC and Rudoni in the team as a foundation.

We’ve looked far better defensively with Kitching at CB in the team all season.

Don’t know what might’ve gone on behind the scenes but on the surface his management of Kitching (and Simms earlier in the season) was poor

To be fair Lampard has also been reluctant to start both

He’s getting to know the players though and probably following coaches advice but take the point. Maybe kitchings upped his game in training/off the field. Simms is obviously a confidence player and dropping him after he scored earlier in the season and constantly rotating just didn’t seem to be wise if you want to get the best from him

No I agree . I would've played both of them more this season
