O'Hare should have gone down in the box, defender takes him with him.

I don’t think Simms has been that bad. Wright has been good. Defensively look solid, they were always going to have most of the ball
Yeh I love a moan but it was pretty obvious what we were going to see. Martins Swansea team had similar bloated possession stats and now with better players who cost many millions these can keep it even better. All you can ask is to keep the shape and remain solid which we have done and we'll certainly get chances of our own on the break.

Some of our defending has been a bit last ditch, but it's been largely good. MVE had a great half defensively.

We look like we're playing very narrow out of possession. I'm slightly worried we'll tire before the game finishes as everyone's been having to do a lot of running around because we've barely touched the ball haha.

That being said, we should have had a penalty, but I think the ref bottled it because of the Bidwell challenge on Armstrong (which wasn't a foul I don't think).

Wright's been good, Simms lacking confidence, O'Hare not been great but he's working hard, Allen the same, Sheaf a mixed bag.

Overall, we're doing okay considering the quality of the opposition.

He just looks half arsed. Would be interesting to see him in just playing balls into the box for him to score. I don't think he can do much else himself, needs it on a plate.

(Except booting it at the keepers left titty)
All he could do is try and hit the target which he did, keeper was always favourite to block it

Really enjoyed watching the opposition endlessly pass the ball around while we give them as much space as we possibly can. It’s really what you pay the money for. Reckon we probably strung together less than 50 passes in the last 25 minutes of that half.

God, I miss Viktor Gyokeres.
There is no point trying to heavily press a team like this, we'll just get played around and completely exposed

They're still tiring around 75 mins and drop back so I think we will be fine fitness wise.

Simms is playing to orders staying central but his first choice is poor, not good enough really at this level and if he has an opening doesn’t look like scoring

Just needs to brush up on his first touch, Simms, and the rest will follow.

Defence doing their bit, but our midfield is invisible. On that showing I’d take a 0-0 now. Not a game for Palmer to get minutes, he’s not really a chaser.

Funny old half. Get drawn to watching Wright and he showed a terrific run into the box, a great header and a great layoff... and then seemed to be asleep a couple of times.

Simms poor, Sakamoto anonymous. Allen pick of midfield, Sheaf careless on the ball. Defence good, Van Ewijk excellent.

Haji haters now hating on Simms

Will never learn
Was thinking the exact same thing.

Simms hasn't been bad. He had some good touches. Checked his run nicely to stay onside for the chance the keeper came out to block. It's not like we've had much of the ball to do anything with.

"I’m currently on 2 yawns this game. Lower than average but still there. "

From the S'ton forum, made me chuckle. Wanted to see if they felt the same, generally they do.
