Saturday's game cannot be understated, it's the biggest game in the Club's history.
CCFC are 90mins from returning to the Premier League which will impact on the club for a number of years to come.
Standing in our way is a very well organised, strong and athletic side. The lads can do it, I believe that. If we play at our best we will beat Luton, I'm confident of that.
I am thrilled we have managed to get this far, MR, AV and all the players and staff at the club have been brilliant to get us here and deserve a lot of praise.
If the SBA are behind the lads from the off on Saturday, the 12th man will get us over the line, as the SBA have done for so long.
What lies ahead for City after Saturday, is after Saturday. Let's think about that then and enjoy Saturday itself.

If we don't win, we won't definitely lose Hamer. Vik probably though. No guarantee if we went up they would stay either though.
Either way, Robins has a re-build project from May 28th.
If we are still in The Championship, I fully expect he will add some good signings, to complement what will already be a strong team.

No-one fancied us this season, and we've had to deal with The Pitch Fiasco, selling one of our best defenders and having our best player injured for 3/4 of the season (O'Hare) and then Palmer out for the last 15 games.
I have every faith that Robins could build a great team to get us up next season

I was feeling the same before Middlesbrough though tbf, I was so expectant of a loss in that second leg that I was feeling completely relaxed in the build up. I love your optimism, I wish I had it but I just feel this is our one big chance and if we don’t do it we could end up being like Derby, Barnsley, Huddersfield who all made playoffs and then fell apart. If Hamer and Gyokeres go and the loans we have go back we will have a big rebuild on our hands and I’d rather that rebuild happen with £150m in the back burner

Coventry obviously want to implement a model where they buy cheap players, develop them and keep them in the team to contend the play-offs or send them on their way whilst banking a hefty fee. I believe Celtic use a similar model where they buy players nobody has ever heard of and make them attractive to teams with money look at Moussa Dembele bought from Fulham for £500k and sold for £20m - these players improve the squad and make the club a bit of money when they eventually move on. At present, Celtic do not stand a chance outside the domestic league but at the same time they do not have the capital to challenge the financially well off clubs.
Coventry's main aim not long ago was stay in the championship with one of the if not the most limited budget. I think Coventry have established themselves as a championship team and have a model that can keep them there. The next goal for Coventry naturally is to build on the team they have for play-offs which they are currently doing. The sale of Vik and Gus is going to make Coventry stronger next year because of the model they have in place. This play-off final is a bonus, it is unexpected territory, IF they go up they have more capital to attract players they can improve even if it means going down again next season - they should have the players in place to get promoted again. If they don't go up the model stays on its current track, it will slow down but the team will improve.
I watched pretty much all of Luton’s highlights on the plane over here yesterday/day before and so many of there goals comes from set pieces and errors, they hardly ever beat a man and send in a good pass, so if we can keep it tight at the back while limiting their set pieces and having our midfield 3/4 work hard turning over the ball and getting it to vik we will do these, just need to keep the mistakes low and set pieces even lower

I think the key will be winning the second balls. We need to turn over the ball quickly like we did in the second leg against boro, defo going to be about the invididual battles. Still think he will go with 1 up front

It seems that most of the neutrals are backing Luton, it’s probably the only club in the entire EFL where getting to the Premier League would be a better story than ours so that’s fair but I don’t get why people are romanticising Kenilworth Road being a Prem ground, I’m sure it holds great sentimental value to a Luton fan but let’s have it right, it’s a shithole

I think we're going to play a box midfield, so no start for Godden. I'm also a little surprised at MR dismissing the possibility of Palmer being in the squad [possibly on the bench]. Is this MR providing misinformation?
As ever, I'm probably over thinking everything and experience suggests just let MR do his job and don't make any comment.

Reading all of this really isn’t helping my nerves. Can’t talk to the wife as she is an Evertonian and football got crossed off the list of acceptable subjects to talk about back in March. This week has been unbearable. Daughter has fell out with me as I got tickets for the son and my nephew. It just needs to be Saturday now so I can get out the house and mix with all the other stressed out Cov fans

IMO I believe we will setup as we did in the 2nd leg against Boro.
Luton are likely to play the five across the back and three CM's, giving us that extra body in midfield will be useful.

I know of people going to the game who live less than 6 miles away from the CBS but haven't been to see Coventry play in the last 15 years that are going to Wembley. Here is a lad who stumbled across Coventry City FC on a computer game, fell in love with the club, travelled from Argentina to see them play and recently was willing to sell his car just to get here. Fair Play to the lad, he followed them when they were doing crap and he like any other supporter should be allowed to enjoy the occasion.
