I get it… but they’ve been effective all season.

How their season in the Prem goes isn’t something I particularly care about. I’m more concerned with ours in the Championship. There’s going to be a lot of turnaround and hopefully we re-invest in a squad that gets us one step further.

We’ve had our faith tested beyond the realms of imagination so many times. This is going to be another huge test but with Robins and Viveash we have the one of the best management teams in the league.

It was 1980s hoof ball crap.

gutted but I don’t think we deserved. Occasion got to the team. We didn’t play with any rhythm. we were second best to most balls. massive reshuffle in the summer. let’s hope we don’t lose that camaraderie with the team

Let the typical, predictable accounts on here wallow in our loss and discredit Robins. I know this is what you were waiting for.

Said after two pens that if it got to Dabo he’d blast it over the bar. The last player on the pitch I’d have wanted talking one.

Probably the worst I’ve ever felt leaving a football ground, just beyond gutted.

On the overall balance of play, Luton probably deserved to win solely based on the fact that they created the better chances and had the ball in the in net more than once. We just seemed too nervous and ill-prepared to deal with their threats, especially in the first half. Losing Hamer ultimately cost us as he could have potentially won it for us in regulation or extra time if he was still on the pitch. Dabo should never have been selected to take a penalty. I knew he'd miss the moment he strode forward from the halfway line. He's only scored 2 goals as a Sky Blue - both own goals. A massive rebuild beckons this summer - will we be stronger for it like Luton or flirt with relegation like Huddersfield? I fear this was a massive missed opportunity. It's going to be a real slog trying to overcome the likes of Norwich, Boro, Watford, WBA, Southampton, 2 from Leicester, Leeds or Everton along with the likes of Sunderland, Millwall, Blackburn and possible half a dozen other teams.

Christ on a three wheeled tricycle. Some of you are starting to sound as pompous and bitter as the Mackems.

Yes, we lost. Yes, the game was pretty equal (even the two goals were similarly created and despatched). But remember that Luton finished 10 points better off than us, in 3rd place. Under the old promotion/relegation system, they would have been automatically promoted. We got a chance due to a last gasp effort and squeaked in with 17 days to go. In a way, luck ran out for us.

If you're in London, have a safe journey home.

Gyo and Hamer will be off. Relegated clubs all strong, a whole load of others too. This was it.

And it’s been taken by an anonymous shithole in Bedfordshire
That's all fine, and I get letting off steam, but lets not whine when others call us an anonymous shithole in the Midlands then.

It worked for them all season. No one has a divine right to win because they try to play a certain way. Our players suit our system, their players suit theirs. It’s horses for courses.

This is t the end. It’s the beginning of understanding we are good enough to challenge for the Premiership. Yes players will go but if we reinvest and make some good signings, we will be challenging again next season.

I said the same before today. And being surrounded by them celebrating doesn’t help

people say it every season and look what happens

and as for slating Luton, what did they do apart from have a good gameplan and stick to it

never mind them, focus on us, it’s going to be a summer of comings and goings

I didn't think Luton deserved it. They went like us blokes do with an attractive woman and spunked their load early doors. They spent the last 45 mins plus 30 mins ET desperate for a pen. They were absolutely done and we didn't punish them

It's another building job for the management team, 3 years and we'll be back in the mix.
That would be nice. tbh if we get anywhere near as close in that time then yep, I'll join the Robins is the best manager we've ever had club!
