Dude, where are you at? What happened over the past 5 seasons that pisses you off? Get a season ticket and show the love. Some of us struggle to see the positives, but maybe give it a go some time?
Have you read the whole thread? The guy said “he can’t keep performing miracles” I replied “that has been said for the last 5 seasons”

pretty sure that I implied he has - fucking hell mate

Feels so much worse this morning. Can’t shake the image of my 13 year old sobbing her heart out. Not knocking the team or club like, just a sad and shitty situation. Still, we’ve got our health. Don’t begrudge Luton at all... well deserved.

Yeah seeing a load of upset kids when I was walking back to Wembley Park was the worst bit for me! But I guess a good life lesson for a Coventry fan...

Woke up really angry this morning , so close to a year of PL trips to Anfield , Old Trafford , Stamford Bridge etc

Instead we’re going to be watching fucking Plymouth , Ipswich etc because a professional footballer can’t hit the target from 12 yards, useless clown.

I hope Luton get spanked every week next season and I will take great pleasure in seeing it. Fucking tinpot club with a shithole of a ground
You're bitter as well as angry.

Cmon boys and girls lets come together and raise the mood, its so shitty but we’re going to get over it. Of all those going I think I’ll be most upset to see Gus go as he’s become one of my favourite ever City players. Onto the summer now and Im excited to see what players we will bring in as we will have money to spend from sales and from the prize revenue (although a lot less than wanted) from the play offs

I'd go for a walk if I was you. Coming across super salty. Footballers miss penalties if they didn't they wouldn't use it as a way to decide the outcome of a game... on luton, why the hate? They won I wish them all the best.

Yeah, not nice to see but that’s just football/sport as Robins says in his interview. We’ve had our fair share of good times recently as well
Better than I ever expected when we were sliding down hideously too. I guess I just can't see how it continues when the foundations are made of sand, so wheyn to King now to get the infrastructure right, and then Robins at least has a chance.

Because I’m not a fucking melt like half the people on here and social media kissing Luton’s and Dabos arse.

He has cost the club a place in the PL, the best part of £170 million and the chance for us to go to stadiums we will now only get to see, if we somehow manage to draw them in the cup.

Chances are we aren’t going to stay in the cup long enough because we’re now going to be signing players from PL youth teams and nobodies from teams like Stevenage.

All because a professional footballer can’t do his job properly, a simple job of kicking a football straight from 12 yards out.

So yes I am salty, I’m fucking angry and bitter because tinpot fucking Luton and their shithole of a ground that doesn’t even meet league standards , are going to be plastered everywhere for the next year.

My only joy is to see them get battered every week.

He didn't cost us promotion. He wasn't even on the pitch when we didn't turn up for the first half. Players from PL youth teams were key players who got us to Wembley in the first place. I can only assume you have extensively scouted stevenage to know these players as shit as you make out. Now go find a dark corner, sit out your tantrum and come back when you make some form of sense.

Why on earth will seeing a team in a different league get ‘battered’ every week give you pleasure. They deserved promotion over the season (finished 3rd) and we’re the better team yesterday for most of the game.
Yes I wish it was us going to Anfield etc but next season I will be concentrating on our performances and not worrying about what happens in the premier league.

possibly the worst take of all on things and there have been a few stupid ones

you should speak to a professional if this is how you deal with setbacks in your life

and Dabo didn’t cost us the game

you said the same after Wrexham and will no doubt say the same loads of times in future

and Dabo didn’t lose the game, that’s pathetic

I thought you only joined the forum two weeks ago

Honestly , I've no idea. It's possible. Our new stadium is a bigger priority than. staying up, our owners , 2020, refuse to go down the same debt route that nearly destroyed us, they won't even take on gambling sponsorship.
Strangely , this ' style' of ours accumulated 80 points. Only Burnley lost fewer games , and only Burnley had fewer goals scored against them. I'm not sure how route 1 makes our defence so good.
I'd guess we'll play to our strengths , get relegated and settle down to go up with a state of the arts stadium
I really couldn’t give a fuck about your new ground. Your current ground is wank and you play some of the worst football I’ve ever seen. None of your players are premier league standard. You won on pens and you deserve to go up but let’s not pretend Luton are a good club, absolute shit hole of a town. You’re basically just an airport near London

Fucking hell mate. If your biggest problem is Dabo missing from 12 yards out your life is class

footballers miss penalties. He’s a right back who had the balls to step up in one of the highest pressure games in world football in front of 40,000 people wanting you to miss.

it was a shit pen, but to lump it all on him is ridiculous, Hamer had a guilt edge chance first half, Godden should have scored when he swiped one over the bar. Both of them not hitting the target.

Penalties remain the worst possible way to lose in football. It’s a lottery at the end of the day - suggesting everyone is kicking Luton’s arses is just bitter. Congratulations to them

Slept on it. Feels worse than the relegations I've experienced at the moment. Wish we'd just fallen short of the play offs tbh.

I do think it would have been better to have been soundly beaten yesterday. Penalties are just so overdramatic and gut-wrenching

I’d have rather lost at Middlesbrough in the semis than that. Agree that it was worse than the relegations, you’re kind of numb to them once they finally come because you’ve been shite all season. That was the worst moment I’ve ever experience in a football ground.

Get your point completely

but whenever we have a big game and are nervous Robins always comes out and says that we are looking forward to it, these are the games we need to be playing in, we don’t fear it- and so on

in my opinion that’s the mentality we need. It hurts badly but I am glad we got there.

if we say we’d rather not even get to a finals or huge matches because there’s a chance of a painful loss, thats not going to get us too far.

it does hurt, but we’ll learn from it.

Well, "some of the worst football I've seen" blew us out of the water first half. Your comments about the town just make you look a really sore loser.

And we were the better team second half. It’s route one bilge. As I said over the course of the season they deserve to go up. But let’s not pretend they’re good to watch. I got a sore neck because the ball was in the air that often

Gee, BF, you need to go for a long walk.

And besides, Dabo is a defender. We were out of nominated penalty takers.

We can't pin this on Dabo. Who else was trying to grab the ball off him and saying "no, I'll do it?"

Luton were a very good side this season. Strength all over the pitch and it showed yesterday.

Their ground is crap, they know that themselves.

Let them have their moment in the sun.

I thought we would go on to win, but they were slightly the better team on the day.

Going to be some good teams in the Championship next season by the looks of it.

Onwards and upwards. Dust ourselves down and go again and trust MR to deliver again .
