I remember the good old days at Highfield Road, when they would ask for fans to turn up with shovels to clear snow off the pitch to get the game on, in return for free entry

The still do now, but only applies to season ticket holders.

I thought it was on? Are we now waiting for confirmation?

The vomitires will surely have been done. Easy enough job isn't it.

Would have thought the only problem (though minor) would be outside getting in.

Will find out when I go out in an hour or so.

iFollow in the warm it is for everybody today :)
I'm currently making the drive or stay in the warm and watch iFollow decision. I'm based in Walsall and the roads here are worse than I expected this morning.

I would tell you, but I have no idea what a vomitire is.

If it's not snowing in Cov now and there's no forecast of it. Then surely whats already fallen can be cleared.

No snow coming down at the minute so should be OK to clear.

Just watch out for the people pouring water on the path and hiding with a camera.

Looks like we will know by 10am at the latest.

Hoping they cancel, the lads in bed suffering with my flu from last week. He'd be gutted if it goes ahead.

Getting to the main road will probably be part of the problem Nick. Even I’m thinking my car isn’t going anywhere in this today! My car was shit in the snow last time round, not sure why today will be any different :(
Is that shit in the snow or shot?

Il be gutted if this is postponed. But also I think they got to take into consideration that 50% of the fans from Lincoln who bought tickets for tiday won't be able to make it to the midweek game. Unfair for them. Would they be able to get a refund?

Do they have much say if the game is playable?
Just going off that last tweet.
The issues they raise in that have been overcome before and surely they've been informed of that.
I don't see why they've sown a seed of doubt to their own fans who have a long way to come and need to get going.
Another half hour to hour delay is unhelpful.

I thought it was a bit random too, everything from CCFC has been that its going to be on dont worry but now Lincoln are saying that. It's as if they don't want it to be on.

I think the home end will be a lot more sparse than usual too, can see many not even chancing driving or walking up to the Ricoh.

Have to remember it's legends day as well, so many of them will have made arrangements, flown over, got hotels etc etc. Another reason why CCFC wont want it to be called off.

Another question. Do ccfc get 100% of revenue from fan zone food and beverage or are these stalls vans wasps.

Don't think it's been said.

No idea if the stalls are the same ones from Wasps too, somebody who has been to both might know?
