Think I'm going alone this week
Big queue for single bar in the fan zone
Someone in my seat
Boring game
Frustrating substitutions

All worth it for three points.

I think start Reid on the left, he added a fair bit to our game last night and did help take pressure off by just running with the ball.

I would go along with that. Especially as it's inevitable we will start Doyle and Kelly so progress will need to be made up the flanks as there will be no one advancing down the middle of the park.

I'm actually not too fussed by that against Lincoln but against Barnet I think we need to be more adventurous and would switch Bayliss for Kelly though it is very unlikely to happen.

Someone obviously thinks this is a huge game. The referee is Mike Dean, who has refereed almost exclusively in the Premier League for years, and hasn't had a 4th tier game since 2012. Given his reputation, we can expect a cardfest so Doyle needs to be very careful.

Bit strange that. Full weekend of Prem fixtures as well. Wonder why he's suddenly reffing our game having not done League 2 for 6 years?

Agree with starting Reid - also think Hyam should keep his place over Willis.

I'm going with another horrible cold 1-0 win which will do me just fine!

Mike Dean will probably mean bookings and a broken up game as he'll be used to the no tackling rule in premier league. On average he's given over 3.5 yellows in each game so far this season, so expect more than that!

With the weather likely to get worse I’m not sure this will be on. Lincolnshire one of worst affected areas...will their fans be able to get here? Also the approaches to the ground might be suspect. And of course the ‘premier league’ ref might not want to run out in the cold.

Weather here is ok. You can’t postpone a game if away fans can’t make it.

Be a bit hard on 4,000 stuck in Siberian condition(ish) to play a game where they have paid for tickets - wonder what he rules are for trying to get a refund?!

Think we will win 1-0 think MR may pick unchanged team from Tuesday night.

Burge GK
Grimmer RB
Haynes LB
Hyam CB
Macdonald CB
Doyle CM
Kelly CM
Shipley LM
Bayliss RM
JCH ST
McNulty ST

Subs: O'Brien, Stokes, Willis, Reid, Vincenti, Biamou, Ponticelli

I'm hoping we don't now go and slip up after the recent efforts away from home. 3 points and it's game on. They need to remember that.

It’s touch and go if this storm catches us or not - it will be off if it does.

Given that a good portion of games are likely to be postponed this weekend ,Linconshire is snowed in currently.
If several of our direct competitors could be in this scenario would we rather go ahead or keep the Status quo?

I'd rather go ahead and get the points on the board and leave the pressure to others to catch up then.

I'm ordering some thermals though, mainly for feet and knee caps

Have Lincoln been able to train in this?

Game will be on, calms down from tomorrow.

Big opportunity to win here, they have conceded 7 in their last two so clearly vulnerable.

Get the old long Johns on.
Can recommend I've probably gone with those for the last five entire Winter periods .
They obviously do get washed periodically Lol .

Might order some later, I'm usually warm enough everywhere apart from knee caps from sitting down and the wind being on them.

I hope the rumours of him being a Spurs fan don't count against us!

A decent ref to assist Doyle will be good for us, against a physical side.

I do agree with ISSS and am a bit worried that Mike Dean will want to play the Uriah Rennie role.

However the only way is forwards so 5-0 City, Vincenti for Bayliss only because he needs a break. Haynes and Shipley on the left with Reid to come on in the second half when its a bit warmer for him.

Hyam to keep his place.

Two pairs of socks for me.

One shot, (and that from a penalty), has become the norm when Kelly and Doyle are together in CM. A draw at home will not be good enough, so I'd revert to Bayliss and Doyle for this one. That'd be harsh on Kelly, who had a decent game against Wycombe. Given that we don't have a decent RM, would it make sense to try Kelly on the right? I expect Robins will name an unchanged team and we will therefore struggle to score.
