There was only one fair assessment on their forum for yesterday, it was a bit funny reading some of them. One of them said barring our two goals , we created nothing, erm… hold the back page, we could have been three nil up after 15 and also the guy who wrestled Tats to the floor should have had a second yellow.
Ah Fernando...almost on queueBTA had two close goal attempts, he definitely offered more threat than Simms. The stats back it up, more shots, more shot creating actions, higher xG, more progressive passes and dribbles
Shall we do a survey to see who wants our forum more like their forumFair comment that. Spoken from the heart and not looking for click bate likes . If only all forums were like this .
I saw a video on twitter this morning showing highlights of torps game , it clearly shows asante involved In several attacks and some link up play .Ah Fernando...almost on queue

Yeah, I don't normally pay much attention to performances of opposition players, but Chakvetadze was superb all game. A class above the Championship I think.Special mention to their #8, he was head a shoulders their best player and looked a handful on & off the ball.
Could it be we contribute to the rivals not looking great? We have beaten 3 play off contenders in 6 days and none of them impressed - although in retrospect the Bristol result looks better.
The standard this year is really quite poor. But even with the three missing players we need serious upgrades, particularly in defence if we want to play 4-3-3, to be considered contenders for the automatics next year.
However the good news is that this year has become a free shot - put a good run together and we are in the play offs.
A result of some sort at Swansea, and the Leeds game becomes even bigger.
Yes I hate this *we beat them because they were shit * mentalityCould it be we contribute to the rivals not looking great?
I mean all I ever heard was drnaks had an easy fixture list. January tell us more
Now it's rivals r shit or injury crisis so favourable fixture list still. February will tell us more.
Just give him and the club their dues.

The leagues always terrible too when we do well
Pretty soon it will be we won't have a better chance of getting to the playoffs ever again
Boring tbh , and mostly untrue
Watford and Blackburn are both bottom six in the form table (Swansea are bottom three), it’s a fair comment that Bristol (5th) was more impressive as a result.
Being in poor form doesn't mean you are a poor side
In this league I think it’s all form outside the top and bottom three or four tbh. Watford looked like a team about to sack their manager yesterday, arguing, angry. God knows why when they’re as high as they are.
Still had to win though. A month ago we’d have drawn or lost that game and we would have been behind against Bristol and Blackburn, but we didn’t and that’s an improvement.

For reference we've drawn with 2nd and 4th and beat 6th 7th 8th and 9th this season
We beat Luton and Oxford ?We’ve also lost to 20th, 15th, 13th, drawn with 23rd
The Championship
We beat Luton and Oxford ?
But yes we've lost games we shouldn't have too
That goes against everything you have been saying though.Like I say I strongly believe this is a streaky league with not much between most teams. A bit of fight and a bit of form takes you a long way.
He was able to drop deep a few times to collect the ball and then be able to turn and run at them ,and it led to some of our best moments. I though he played wellI saw a video on twitter this morning showing highlights of torps game , it clearly shows asante involved In several attacks and some link up play .
Asante had a very decent game

Coincidence that he’s played better since bids were rumoured to have come in for him? Or just better in a two and starting games?
Although Sheaf is a good player I think he slows our momentum down at timoNo way Sheaf gets back in the way Torps playing. He looks a different player since Lampard took over.
He did at first but actually our better performances have come against top half teamsThat goes against everything you have been saying though.
You said lampard had an easy run of fixtures.
It is interesting watching what other players are doing around Torp as the central focus of the video.I saw a video on twitter this morning showing highlights of torps game , it clearly shows asante involved In several attacks and some link up play .

He is certainly benefitting from starting games. Think he is better centrally than out wide but not good enough to play by himself so yes better in a two starting games and playing centrallyCoincidence that he’s played better since bids were rumoured to have come in for him? Like I said I don't really read too much into league positions although obviously it matters a bit!He did at first but actually our better performances have come against top half teams
We're definitely passing the ball quicker, that maybe to do with Jamie Allen in the sideAlthough Sheaf is a good player I think he slows our momentum down at timo
