The usual, stick the stuff in here about it.

I think this is the most "must win" game of the season so far, win this and we are all but in the playoffs.

If we play anything like we did on Fri in the first half, it should be a cracking game with a lot of atmosphere. Hard to predict this one though, but I'll go with a tight 2-1 win

Like Friday, we need to get an early goal. Get the wind in the sales and get the crowd up. Keep the 3.5k Lincoln lot quiet.

Nah, we can lose this and the play-offs are still in our hands.

Anyway, I predict a tedious soporific draw!

A draw wouldn't be the worst result, but I think if we win this it will give a confidence boost as well.

0-0 written all over it
It has indeed.

That's why I am going for 0-2. Squeaky bum time unfortunately for the last two games.

Hope I'm wrong, but I think we will lose. Hopefully we have a strong ref who won't stand for any Rhead strong arm tactics and Lincoln rough stuff.

I don't want to disappoint in this match thread..... so I think somebody should take Rhead out early doors. Not romancing him in Frankie and Bennies, studs down the legs type ;)

A tough win, 2-1. We do seem to have got the scoring boots back on.

Any idea on how good Lincoln's goalie is? We have benefited from some utterly crap goalkeeping lately - it is the most obvious area where League 2 is big gap from the division above, and a reason why Burge is actually quite good FOR THIS LEVEL

I would consider Bayliss for Ponticelli and put him in the pocket behind the strikers. We have two of the better attacking fullbacks for the division to use the flanks. A sort of 4-3-1-2

It's Ryan Allsopp so you'll be able to judge for yourself!

Wouldn't say this is a must win
A win would just about get us over the line
A loss still leaves us in a good position to clinch a play off spot

I'd drop McDonald for this one.

Thought this myself, not entirely sure if MR will but this is a game suited to Tom Davies to usher Matt Rhead around the Ricoh.

Willis and Mcdonald together concerns me a slightly despite how well they’ve done against Akinfenwa with Mcdonald twice looking after him this season. Rhead already this season has gave Jordan Willis the slip from a cross but I’d prefer to keep him in to cope with Matt Green.

Tough one to call as Lincoln been playing 433 lately

I've given my season ticket away for this one - my wedding Anniversary, so I've a prior engagement at a restaurant. Mate is txting me updates - so I'll have to be discreet about looking at my phone! Have written this off as a loss (just to prepare myself - anything else is a bonus!). Atmosphere should be amazing (based on Stevenage) so I am gutted to be missing it, but will be more than happy if we get some sort of result!

Looking at the rest of the season:-
1. We seem to have done better against teams higher in the table.
2. We have struggled away from home
3. We have struggled against a lot of the teams lower in the league.
On that basis I think we will win tomorrow night, then struggle to against Cheltenham and Morecambe.
We may scrape another draw and get into the playoffs ourselves or more likely I think we will get to the playoffs as a virtue of mansfield not getting the results they want (i.e. we will win one and draw 2 and still get through because Mansfield don't catch us)
Just as a side note I have noticed that we don't seem to have many draws this season, despite a lot of our games being close-run? I think we are due a few draws to even things out.

2-0

On the basis that they don't have Michael Bostwick for this one who made it into the EFL team of the season, it's a blow for them.

According to Cowley it wasn't even a foul.

I think you'll find it was. Clear foul.

I also think Lincolnshire Live is related to Coventry Live.

'The defender was shown a straight red card after being adjusted to have fouled U's striker Michael Mandron.'

I'd take a point right now
Then two games to get the job done

He did okay besides the mistake, but Davies is the more physical player and more consistent player too at the moment.

I would definitely go with Davies, especially against Lincoln.
you also wanted willis dropped earlier in season and even sold. just relax
