Crappy attitude and one that leads to SS being overwhelmed tbh. What’s wrong with the club checking in on someone during games if they keep getting kicked out?

I'm not sure that's the time they'd get a sensible response though. He'd likely tell them to fekk off. It needs intervention at home in the week, but goes beyond the remit of buying a season ticket and not anything they'd concern themselves with. That's why I asked if anyone knew him really.

the police banned him years ago. since that ban he has calmed down

My bad for assuming his behaviour was due to drugs. I don't often go to away games and the only time I saw him was while walking up to the Arena, he was acting up in a friendly and very loud manner towards some lads that seemed to know him a bit. Most people including myself were giving him a wide berth. I don't think I'd be very happy if I ended up at a game in a seat near to him. I can't see any intervention working myself.

After the game he was at the top of the car park mingling amongst their fans telling them they were crap and shouting. Thankfully they ignored him from what i could see, but there are times when others won't. It's his own safety as much as anything else that should concern those who say he's ok. And if they're mates they should help him.

This us where the club need to support. It needs raising at one of the club fan consultancy meetings. Club could set up support group get these people supervised to allow them to enjoy match without endangering themselves or others. Treat as a disability people we need to engage with and help not ostracise and tease

This is also making an assumption the person is disabled when they may not be. You also don’t want to upset unstable people and potentially put these supervisors in danger.

This is a non-issue to be honest. Football fan behaves poorly at many football games, it’s not new.

Yes fans shout, there was another bunch of dickheads behind singing 'Blackburn's a shithole' through the streets. That will antagonise locals and we have the same at the CBS. Inside the ground it's fine and banter. Outside it's a dickhead thing to do.

But, you're missing the point completely, most will ignore him. I'm sure if you travel regularly you'll have seen people started on for a lot less and if he's on his own, we know cowards will often target him rather than other group I mentioned, so ask yourself when you say it's harmless, would you personally jump in to defend him and risk your own banning order if someone started on him?
