My comments are for today's game. We were second in every 'basic' football discipline. Include last weekend in that as well.

I refuse to be happy on a situation created by SISU.

But we were first in the most important classic discipline: Scoring goals.

Well at least you've confirmed to me that you don't have the ability to switch off from the SISU stuff for a split second to just talk about football and football only. Quite tragic really.

"Second in every basic football discipline" ... except that football discipline which football matches are awarded on, scoring goals.

Except finishing...yes it was a poor display but you only get what you deserve in football. Crewe were poor themselves but were kept on top by our inability to keep the ball.

Our player wage bill was approximately double last season yet they only managed to gain 2 more points than this squad after 39 games.

The result was a positive but I refuse to back off from the elephant in the room.

99.9% posts on here are about 'the elephant in the room' it's not like no ones bloody talking about it Ffs.

30% possession sums it up.

We made the game so much harder than it needed to be at times. Wilson should not have had it played into his head so many times, his pace is deadly and the one time we played him through he scored. Very well taken goal too!

dont get all the depression on this thread, its a match thread and we won. I dont care if we won due to the match being abandoned due to 9 of their team being sent off, we won. SISU stuff is for another thread.

We really did, if we'd have gone out to attack with two forwards and two wingers could have won 4/5-0

But it affects everything right down to quality of players, number of loanees and style of play. I hate to say it but Wilson will come into it as well.

Don't know their names, but I'd say the tool with the whistle must have a gameplan, and also the three or four stiff behind me who attended today's game as their first game in a long while and had nothing positive to say. :D

Seppella, Fisher and Labowich ?

Sounds like Pressley is going to adapt a new style to win games

Some people will be heartbroken if we don't get relegated.

well if you're referring to anyone on here, you're an even bigger idiot than I imagined.

You can't blame him for thinking that. Certain people can't wait to jump on the forum when we lose, when we win- well look how quiet it is on here tonight.

Great couple of results from two massive games there. The rot needed stopping, the style we did it in is irrelevant IMO.

Looks like we're safe. Need to be at least as competitive as we are right now to stand a chance of playoffs next season.

Seems like Pressley has found a plan B as well.

Correct and look at the negativity on this thread. Forecasts of defeats, complaints at negative tactics , Italia saying they are crap and no commitment - the silence is defeaning now.

Glass half full or half empty syndrome? 10 points off play-offs or 8 points from drop zone? :thinking about:

Not totally out of the woods yet I think however it relieves a lot of pressure for sure. One more win, perhaps two, and then we'll be fine.

hats of ,well done ,2 much needed wins and 6 valued points in the bag ,we all know we can play a lot better ,so getting two wins the way we played, things look a bit more promising ,

Do you think we played well today then?
Pretty awful really only good point was the defense looked better then in resent weeks and two well taken goals.

The team won - the fact is they are the joint 6th best team in the league despite people trying to convince themselves otherwise.

we are 13th. that's also fact

Only due to a points deduction. Check out how many teams get promoted with a reduction - few and far between.

We are the 6th best team in the league - you seem desperate to deny this and rubbish the club at every turn but that's the fact.

...and a game in hand on a few above us! that's a fact. We may finish just behind the playoffs. If we had our -10 right now we would be right up in the mix. Fact.
