Season ticket holders and an extra 500+ so 7,000 my prediction. Sisu missed another trick, should have done cheap tickets for this game bearing in mind it's on sky so getting revenue anyway

How many offers have they already done? Definitely 2 gills and fleetwood? I think they can only do 4 per season. Should have done it for Monday though.

Football league rules I believe, I'm sure we had a thread on it back in September. I'll see if I can find it.

Found it:

34.2.11 Discounts or special promotions (in each case for one match only) made available to supporters of the Home Club must also be made available on a similar basis to visiting supporters provided always that each Club shall be permitted to designate four (4) Matches per Season as ‘local promotion’ Matches where this Regulation shall be deemed not to apply. Clubs shall notify the Executive of the Matches so designated as and when they are designated.

Ohh okay. So we could offer more than 4, but would have to offer any more than 4 to away fans too.

Seems fair tbh, especially as it's on Sky. If they got another 3-4K at £10 each, that's £30-40,000 they wouldn't of got keeping it at normal prices.....

About time they did deal for season ticket holders , like bring a friend for £10 or something

It's been done in the past but, as a season ticket holder, it's of absolutely no benefit to me and, more importantly, I get laughed at if I suggest "you can come and watch for a tenner".

No I think it means that only 4 local special promotions per season, but that it should be offered to the away team too.

I don't think we would get another 3-4k for it being £10.

Oh right okay. Don't see how the FL can dictate charges tbh. Unless they use this to keep ticket prices up?

ypou should get 2 or 3 free tickets a season to "bring a friend"

That would be a good way to lose those friends;).

As a season ticket holder do we still get a discount in the club shop I know there is not a lot in there because if we don't we don't get a lot of benefits having a season ticket.

Surely everyone pays £10, not just the extra 3-4K? So total gate receipts would probably be down. But I agree with the general point, cheaper price promotions are good to entice people to the game; especially 'kids for a quid' type offers. Get the kid hooked and you have a fan (income stream) for life

So what does that mean exactly, they can do as many as they like as long as they offer it to away supporters as well?

Some people on FB/twitter saying under 5k sold for Monday. Anyone know if that's true/bs?

The guy who started it on facebook is a bit of a wind up merchant likes to cause a bit of a debate etc some times hes spot on other times just does it for attention, so the answer is who knows but cant see it being a big gate

Yes, I just meant you'd have an extra 3-4k there and also spending money etc. I know everyone will be paying £10. It depends on what they want (as in the club), do they want high attendances, or do they want maxium income from low attendances? You'd have thought high attendances would bring the money in naturally, but....

The 'spending money' idea is great but that all goes to Wasps so the net effect is we've lowered our revenues to get more people in the ground for someone else to profit!

Games like these are a hard sell, anyone who's not local is surely going to think twice about making trip on a Monday night when they can sit at home, or in the pub, and watch the game.
