Yes, what are these mythical 17 criteria for discussion?

Ah mythical so you don't believe they exist.

They are hardly going to be published when the meetings are on going.

Anyway I'll save you the bother - they are all totally unreasonable and outrageous. Wasps are doing a marvellous job by rejecting all if them and saving the day from those nasty people in Mayfair.

The truth is if done correctly it could present huge opportunity.

<snip>. Very easily the football clubs database could be shared and offers made to go the the rugby.

The marketing could be geared to sporting heritage in the City and supporting these teams is supporting the community.
They could be doing all that now. No need to share a ground to share a database or develop a 'relationship'.

It's easier to do it when positioned right in the centre of course, and also when there's a physically distinct space between them ans Wasps.

Really, if you were Wasps you'd be going for the new, the experience, the fact it's a good day out as your marketing. Ironically us moving out could well help them too, as it'd enable them to do whatever they wanted to build that.

I'd be amazed if they did let anyone see the list at this point.

Not too hard to work out what some are likely to be:

All (or at least a much bigger %) of the F&B
Same with parking
Better access to hostility facilities
Hospitality sold in at cost to allow mark up
CCFC fixtures to have priority (required by FL)
Equal branding through the stadium
Equal visibility on Ricoh site and advertising
Share of naming rights in line with the value CCFC add
Equal quality of F&B service as other events
Club shop on site (there is, or at least was, a second store that mirrors the Wasps store on the other side of the ground)
Club ticket office on site, possibly shared with Wasps
Hospitality to feature CCFC not Wasps on our match days (all our memorabilia has been removed)
Share of revenue generate by Wasps letting out facilities using CCFC as a draw (e.g. the Jimmy Hill lounge)

Sure there's more but that's just off the top of my head.

Once again, you say rejected them all. Is this actually true, or made up to suit your view?

Exactly, I think more people would be inclined to go and see Cov Rugby.

If we did move, it would have to benefit them and help them grow. The last thing I would want is for it to stunt their growth.

That was already stunted years ago. During the transition to the professional game they were an absolute shambles. I don't think they've ever really recovered.

With the wealth of rugby talent this city has produced in the last twenty years they really should have done much more.

I think working with CCFC is their only hope to really improve.

Yeah having (or letting) Rugby Lions take all their players in the mid 80s was the first cockup.

That being said... doubt Jon Sharp was overwhelmed about Wasps coming in. When CRFC were rescued from their failed liquidation, I suspect the plan was to try and get CRFC into the top flight, not to have a rugby club come in over their heads.

It's pushed them into a position where they *have* to work with CCFC now, really... and that's fraught with risk, as we know!

Have Wasps rejected all 17, or have the Talks come to naught?

Even if they weren't going to make the top flight one promotion doesn't seem beyond them. With one team in the city that would be a pretty big deal but with Wasps here the impact would be much lower.

Do CRFC have a different customer base to Wasps? The Butts is "my" side of town. I would never ever go to the Ricoh if City weren't there. There's pubs nearby the Butts and a lot of people live in the area. I am not a Rugby fan and cannot really say much, but I would guess that a lot of their support is local and would not go to the other side of town if there were a decent team at the Butts - but, as I say, I am only guessing and Spon End and Chapelfields is where I grew up, so I'm biased.

I know I will get a sarcastic answer to these.
However what is wrong with us knowing the 17 points?
If Wasps are rejecting them out right.
Then they are pointless anyway.
If they are very reasonable and Wasps rejected them all.
That is very good PR for the club and will help galvanise support for the new stadium?
