I did hear it. I got the impression it was someone who has conversations with him on this issue. I think it’s more likely to be Nick. Probably is him or me.
Well done Pete, we may not agree on everything but fair play to ya calling him out... you can tell he was trying to get you off quicklyI’m sorry I would have asked bout the document signed before the talks if I’d remembered. I hope I didn’t come across as a Sisu stooge was just wanting to ensure Clive couldn’t point fingers without being challenged on what he thought the club could do
Anyone Else interested in what the trust will come out with after this?
I’ve sent a message those who follow me retweet it - it’s carefully worded and polite
This ^ I'll try and listen to a download later, but fair play Pete. This thread is a great example of coordinated fan action. Putting aside previous disagreements on other issues to focus on the key issue of the moment.Well done Pete, we may not agree on everything but fair play to ya calling him out... you can tell he was trying to get you off quickly
G- what is your twitter name/account, if it's appropriate to ask on here?
You came across very well mate good straight question that couldn't be batted away well doneI’m sorry I would have asked bout the document signed before the talks if I’d remembered. I hope I didn’t come across as a Sisu stooge was just wanting to ensure Clive couldn’t point fingers without being challenged on what he thought the club could do
I understood him saying that this wasn’t holding up any deal but Sisu and ccfc promising no more legal action against waspsCJ said the other week that they quizzed wasps on it when they met them? He didn't say wasps said there wasn't one.
Somebody is bullshitting.
If it had been removed, the trust and CovTel would be all over it whipping up an anti SISU frenzy.CJ said the other week that they quizzed wasps on it when they met them? He didn't say wasps said there wasn't one.
Somebody is bullshitting.
The last thing was that they signed something to say there wouldn't be.I understood him saying that this wasn’t holding up any deal but Sisu and ccfc promising no more legal action against wasps
Just tweeted Neil to ask what the Trust can do to persuade Wasps to drop the clause and allow us back to the Ricoh. I'll let you know if i get a response!
The already have and did, signed and sealed.....I understood him saying that this wasn’t holding up any deal but Sisu and ccfc promising no more legal action against wasps
YepThe already have and did, signed and sealed.....
Then appeared the indemnity when the complainant against THE COUNCIL became common knowledge (well, after discussing a deal for a bit whilst knowing about the complaint!)
Oh no! Although I’m from cheylesmore tooYou came across very well Pete - no ranting and (first and foremost) praised how well the team are doing on the pitch. I always envisage you as the other Pete who gets on after most matches.
Spot on, they’re going to be gutted if we go up.No one will. The real fly in the ointment here is the real possibility of promotion
I think he was saying there is none but club and Sisu need to promise there won’t be any . Maybe for a second timeThe last thing was that they signed something to say there wouldn't be.
Maybe Stuart can confirm which legal action there is against wasps?
Maybe we have to boycott the calls on a Friday, hit him where it hurts, not much of a programme without callers or we need to all call in and repeat the points from the previous caller to see if he gets it
Did Linnell say/imply that there was never an indemnity clause or that there’s no indemnity clause anymore?
Both really. But ended by saying that wasps had changed tact on that clause. Lots of contradiction and backtracking all told.
We surely know there was an indemnity clause for one very simple reason.
If there never was an indemnity clause, Wasps would have been all over it when it came out about it. On this matter, their silence has been thunderous.
Any replies Grendel?
