Hasn't John Taylor been appointed as Chief Operating Officer (COO), Dave Boddy was Chief Executive so wonder if there is someone else coming in as well for that role? Or is it just Doug?

King is Executive Chairman so he'd effectively taken over the CEO role anyway, doubt there will be anybody else

Other than his name is a source of butcher and Duran Duran related puns does anyone know anything about this Taylor fella?

What's his background?

Here is his LinkedIn for those curious. I am a bit puzzled why someone would leave a like for like COO role at a Premier league club to come to a Championship club? He only held the COO role a year too which to me says we are either paying top dollar or he is moving for family reasons. The cynic in me hopes it was not due to him not quite performing in the biggest role of his career and he has jumped while his reputation was good, before he was pushed.

Wish him well

Who knows sometimes it can be a question of legally or ethical?

Forest had a restructure in September and he left, similar to our departing CEO.

The Forest chairman being a nutter might have a role to play...

I don't imagine the day to day job is that different in the PL, it's not as if he's playing
