Could well be we are looking at free agents who can be signed outside the window. Might get a loan in before deadline and then a CB free agent next few days..

This has been a very poor window caused by previous poor windows. Waghorn, Kane, Decosta, Hilssner, Walker, Kastameer a bit before all been identified and given big deals and have not worked out. If you add the lad at LWB who has been demoted to the u21s it points to recruitment shortcomings.

I actually think Kane will be an important member of the squad now

we might as well utilize him as I think he’d be better than Eccles at RWB

Re: Kane is a harsh one, he did a job last season, Dacosta was nowhere near good enough, Dabo was injured for half of the season, as was Eccles and Burroughs was out on loan. We had a big hole at RWB and he filled it for us. Was brought in as back up and to provide competition and ended up starting 23 league games (50%) due to injuries, etc.

Oooh sweepstake time. I’ll go 22.30 to Leeds

23:05 to Everton or Newcastle. Both were looking at Watford's Joao Pedro earlier but got knocked back. And Vik would be a good partner for Newcastle's new striker and Vik's International teammate Isak.

If it’s a late move they will say we have the money ready for the next window in Jan.

Then in Jan poof it’s all disappeared into running costs.
