Pretty sure 2018 IS going to happen, Dart. No fate about it.
Well if Mick Jagger or Johnny Vegas die before New Years Day it'll be Terry's fault.

If you seek out cartoon porn like my friend, you will find lots of Daphne porno.

I think Scooby bloody Doo was the most hated cartoon in our house! What a bore! The same story week in, week out. It was always the museum boss or curator that was the baddy and usually dressed as a mummy or similar. Hundreds of these made and all virtually the same! The writers should have all been sacked!

Shocking omission of Chris Cornell, but very good work non the less. It's been another bad year for celeb deaths.

Why shocking omission? Personally, I've never heard of him. I had to Google the name to find out who he was.

If Gogglebox is all he's been involved with, he can leave without a trace. I've never watched such garbage.

Never seen it either. It's the sort of thing my daughter does, watch people watching other people, or watch people watching other people play games instead of playing the games yourself.

Doesn't appeal.

My thoughts exactly, Otis! I just don't get the idea of watching someone, watching a TV show. Jeez! Watch the bleedin' show yourself! Or get a fuckin' life!

It's a strange concept.

My daughter was watching people on YouTube who were watching people play Minecraft. It's like a second tier of watchmanship.

Weird.

Hmm, not so sure on that. If you are watching a football match, that is you watching the match and obtaining pleasure from that and if you happen to have on the radio too that just enhances your experience, because you are gaining further insight into the game you are watching.

However, if you are watching someone else play a computer game, or watching someone else watching someone else play a game, that is all about THEIR enjoyment and pleasure and surely your degree of pleasure is diminished.

I could get it a bit more if you are watching a game you haven't got, but my daughter watches people, watching people when she actually has the game herself anyway.

Puzzles the hell out of me. It's not even looking for solutions or tips.

And as for Gogglebox, surely they are watching a number of programmes you don't watch or haven't seen. Unless you have watched exactly what they have watched there is a degree of dissociation isn't there? Also aren't they more than likely watching a lot of programmes you don't like at all anyway?

I have seen clips, but I expect they are watching stuff that includes all the soaps, X Factor, Strictly, I'm a Celebrity, Call the Midwife, Downton Abbey etc. and they are all programmes I have never seen and would never, ever wish to see. And then, in that circumstance why would I want I watch people talk about programmes I have absolutely zero interest in?

Maybe I am missing the point, but if they were talking about Walking Dead, or League of Gentlemen, or Breaking Bad etc. I might be a little more interested in, it perhaps, but I guess they are watching pretty much mainstream, safe TV aren't they?

On the whole it is mainstream stuff yes, but occasionally there will be a film or a news item that is more relevant to me, where it is interesting is you get to see the reactions and opinions of a wide spectrum of society, I'm not saying it's highbrow stuff but it can be interesting. I don't watch it all the time it is more when I'm channel hopping and I will stop for a while before moving on. Anyway as I said he seemed a decent sort and his wife who appeared with him will be devastated so RIP Leon.

It's never appealed to me, but yeah, RIP for sure and I guess that's the end of his wife on the programme as she surely wouldn't want to go alone.
