One of my favourite authors, glad he managed to get his last two books out before he passed away. The Road is a great book, though not what you would call enjoyable! His Border Trilogy books are brilliant, especially the first two. Would thoroughly recommend them. RIP CormacA few people who are in to his books have said Blood Meridian is his best work, ots on my to read list but not got round to it yet.
I remember watching him play for Chelsea many, many years ago. Great player. RIPJohn Hollins passing has just been announced.
God I feel old now
The Road film is very good, but still has nothing on the book. Completely terrifying.Never read any of his books but love the film adaptations of his books. The Road is a difficult watch though because of the subject matter, in many ways one of the scariest films I’ve ever watched.
