We could play Clarke up front Moussa or Daniels in the hole. I little more defensive but shouldn't blunt our attacking options too much.

So, am I right in saying this is Pressleys 4th signing as CCFC boss ?

Webster, Manset, Urquart, Slager

just on radio news, Slager will make his debut today. Pressley says he is "rapid", might be just the right replacement for callum. PUSB

Excellent news. Obviously we know very little about him but just to have a striker available alongside Leon has to be good.

Pressley suggested in todays CT interview that this player is not the same player who was on trial! Can anyone clarify? The wording he used was also a little confusing.

Good luck to Slager, let's give him time as he is only 20 not expecting too much too soon.

Coventry City have completed the signing of young striker Denzel Slager from Dutch Eredivisie side RKC Waalwijk.

The 20-year-old agreed terms on an 18-month deal on Friday (January 3rd) although his move could not be completed until it was ratified by the FA and the Football League which has now been completed.

The completion of the deal means Slager is also eligible for the Sky Blues' FA Cup third round tie away to Barnsley at Oakwell this afternoon.

Not sure about a fee, doubt it will be much.

I hope people remember he has been bought as a development player. He is in today because needs must.

I think it's because its been a long time since we've signed a player properly, as in an actual transfer not a free if you know what I mean? But if he does well today, why not partner Leon til Wilson is fit again? :)
