Bit unfair on Wright, I think.
The guy has just come back from injury and is clearly lacking sharpness. Very hard to just come back in after weeks out and be immediately match fit.
I'm sure we'll see Wright back at his best very soon. Hopefully, on Saturday, we will see something approaching the Wright we remember.
All we needed was a goal to set them into panic mode but it didn't happen. Shite officials didn't help.Possession meant absolutely nothing. They would have let us knock it about all we wanted like we did.
Lampards non specific comments on Sheafs injury add to this, I feel. And that's the difference on what's being discussed above. Eccles is cracking on and doing what he needs for the side
The other bloke isn't
Hence the frustration of fans being shared by the club
Nothing more than that. No 'agenda'
It's just venting for the most part, I'd hope most understand it's just one of those drab midweek games against poor opposition that pulled us down to their level, that can happen. Hopeless officials didn't help either.I thought a few people would have a meltdown when we finally lost a game but didn't expect this many.
From the reactions you would think it was Derby who had nearly 70% of the possession and it was us that only had 2 shots on target. I agree we didn't play well but it's difficult against 10 players in the box defending and playing on the break with speed.
Let's try to remember that most of our best players are either injured or coming back from injury. We're playing with a makeshift side trying to get fitness into players. We're in a much better position than most thought possible. We have 3 difficult games coming up but 2 are at home. Sunderland won't be coming here to put all 11 players in the box. Burnley got a player and their manager sent off last night.
That’s fine re the parts of his game. BUT you don’t have to be match fit to show intent, want, work rate, willingness to throw yourself into work.Totally agree, Otis.
He touch was poor, lost the ball easily and was frustrating to watch, but he's been out for 16 weeks. Need to cut him a little slack.
It was a hugely frustrating watch but our run was always going to come to an end . I personally felt it would be Sunderland or Burnley that ended it and not Derby but they are fighting for their lives and that was the difference last nightIt's just venting for the most part, I'd hope most understand it's just one of those drab midweek games against poor opposition that pulled us down to their level, that can happen. I don't understand posts basically saying we're not good enough. Do people understand how bad everyone from West Brom downwards has to have been for us to even catch them from where we were in the first place?!
Big performance against Sunderland needed now, I'm hopeful although I think we miss Rudoni a lot.

Plan should have been just work hard for 45/60mins then we can bring you off.
How he stayed on, ambling about and sticking his leg out for 90mins, is frankly mind blowing.
That’s a really good point, I hadn’t realise at the time of posting. If you were being naughty you might suggest it's a little dig at Sheaf...

What did Lampard say? I’ve missed these comments? That’s a really good point, I hadn’t realise at the time of posting.
I was more thinking it explains Eccles lack of minutes and form over the last month or so. I thought he played well first half and was much improved.
This season as a whole he has offered so much more than Sheaf, arguably our player of the season before the Lampard tenure started (granted, a low bar). He’s improved year on year for us and is very good option to have in the squad, still only 24.
Players need to treat each game as a cup game if they’re not going to match the fight of the opposition. Maybe this was a good thing to give them a dose of reality and go again.
Totally agree .How does a switch to 3 x CBs prevent either goal last night? First one, Bidwell makes a dumb challenge and Haji plays their bloke onside from the free kick. Second goal is Thomas ball watching, loses Harness. I don't want us to overreact to a bad day at the office.
On our day.Nine wins in eleven still sounds great. Forget this game now and moce on to a tough challenge on Saturday.
Still think it'll be us and WBA in the play offs. We're better than Bristol City and Middlesbrough.
Agreed, Boro look a very poor team atm. I wish Bristol would just fuck off, like a turd nugget that won't shake off.Nine wins in eleven still sounds great. Forget this game now and moce on to a tough challenge on Saturday.

They can fuck off with the annoying, "The Rams are staying up" song too.
No, you're not.
Ha. Yeah, that was a good one."What's it like to see a crowd?" ....... not the brightest bunch are they?
It's football. Take it!Embarrassing result
Have a fag someone will be along in a day or two to collect you and your bike.We had to lose at some point but to do it against a poor derby side with Sunderland, sheff Utd and Burnley coming up makes it a bit worrying, it’s either wheels come off or gives us the gentle reminder we have to be on it for every game, can’t afford anymore performances like that,
On CWR pre game he said Eccles had been playing with / managing and injury for some time he’s a good player, offers lots, knows when to press etc. What did Lampard say? I’ve missed these comments?
To be fair it’s not like all wins have been playing the same formation. We’ve played at least three in this period. No harm in going back and being adaptable.Blimey 2nd loss in 11 and people panicking we must change formation
I do wonder if you guys ever enjoy supporting cov or watching football?
No there isn't but it's not a necessity eitherTo be fair it’s not like all wins have been playing the same formation. We’ve played at least three in this period. No harm in going back and being adaptable.

In fairness alot of the good form came with another formation too but the reality is we conceded less .Blimey 2nd loss in 11 and people panicking we must change formation

We won with 433 too. I don't mind people raising it as a possibility it's just the panic and assumption that 352 is a change that simply must be made asapIn fairness alot of the good form came with another formation too but the reality is we conceded less .
I'm not fussed either way but I think its a fair shout
He needs to play a couple in the u21s then.Totally agree, Otis.

Fuck knows why we don't bother in general to help get players a bit closwr to match fit
What did he say about Sheaf?Had Lampard done his interview yet?
What did he say about Sheaf?
didn’t want to go into detail about it which probably explains Saddles comment how he’s a petal…
