Terrible all over. Awful team selection to start with. Gyokeres, Dabo, Shipley, Allen, all poor.

Referee was a joke and you could tell that he was desperate to give them everything from the start. Officiating is truly just pathetic in this league.

What pisses me off though is we don’t seem to be able to adapt our approach to when things aren’t going our way. I feel like the team lacks a proper leader - someone to call the shots, bend them refs ear, hype everyone up when needed and calm everyone down when the momentum is with them and the ref js giving them everything.

Thought bidwell was alright at LCB actually.

Maatsen found out time and time again (as was Dabo). Anyone think he, or any other post-McCallum player has done better than what we would have expected from Brandon Mason (apart from his injury)? I don't.

Funniest bit was when the flashed up the stat about Derby scoring late goals like we don’t have the best record for late goals in the country.

Second was the “Coventry concede second half” which they show a graphic showing us conceding the least second half goals in the division. How these people are paid to do this I’ll never know.

“foul”

I agree it was a bit soft, but you give the referee a decision to make in that situation. We would be screaming if it was down the other end and it would get tacked onto the thread about referees not giving us penalties.

I think Maatsen in the build up got done too easily too.

Gyokeres has to score there, great save but a terrible finish. Should have took it around him.

Had the whole goal to aim for, twice.

The first one he skied just needed a nice swept placed finish.

Draw was a fair result and considering we’ve had coaching team all off with Covid, three centre halves out, players rested who then had to come on early and all against a team fighting for their lives, it’s hardly a disgrace

My frustration is if we’d started with the same intensity/intent as we finished it, it’s a different game

Hope those cunts go down now, fucking diving pricks. They had the ref on their side all game we played pretty much 90 minutes with 10 men on the pitch.
Are you talking about the ref or Shipley?

When there are no repercussions for poor officiating the standard won't improve.

Dabo was fine you clown, they barely got in down his side. The midfield were very very poor covering Maatsen

After Godden’s penalty vs Fulham, we’ve just just been blacklisted not to be given any more penalties. Heck we can’t even be given a goal when we score (ala Hull). Refs suck - pure and simple. Yet we missed sitters today. Derby getting the benefit of the doubt due to their plight. Hope they go down. Shipley and Waghorn should not be offered any more games to play. Rather play the kids now. Season is over anyway.

I agree, I've not been all about Dabo recently, think he's had a poor season. But he was fine. Left side was a mess.

Maatsen is a much better player than Mason let's not be silly

What should he have done? Phased his leg out of existence?

I'll have to see the replays over again if you are that adamant, but it does seem many fans really get touchy about any criticisms of Sheaf. I thought he was poor today.

As for the penalty, I did look straight at the referee when it happened, half expecting it to be given.

I can’t remember Gyok ever taking around the keeper. He always boots it along the floor

Unless it deflects in off the keeper, he rarely hits the target.

I love him to bits as our player, but his overall finishing is poor. Needs 4 or 5 clear chances to get 1.

TBF we played the right tactic today. Still do not understand how Shipley gets a start though. Overall we should have put the game away with glorious chances, two from Gyokeres of which he has to score one of them surely? Do that and derby collapse. As it was they were gifted a penalty, although Sheaf is a liability all day long.
Derby never seemed to have that urgency about them that was expected? We should have stepped it up sooner and threw everything at them.
Well I genuinely can't see the playoffs now. It would take a great run of results and a crash from one or two others. I'm happy with that so long as we build on our expectation for next season, where a sustained challenge has to be the goal.
