I'm surprised by that appointment I expected Mark Robins to get it
How come it takes us bloody weeks to find a new manager and the mackums can do it in 24hrs
Marlon King's arrival at the city had the same impact. : )And David Milliband resigns over Di Canios fascist politics. A politician with some principles perhaps?
At least we're not the only club in a mess.
Di Canio, fiery temper or nuts? either way can anyone seriously see some of these premership stars putting up with his style of management. Could make for interesting viewing
Player power? He should have gone to Chelsea!
I think it took a lot longer than that. I wouldn't be surprised if the board arrived at the decision to bin MON and made contact with PDC before the international break. With your manager leaving the way he did, the board can't be expected to have foreseen it.How come it takes us bloody weeks to find a new manager and the mackums can do it in 24hrs
Even when we sacked Thorn though it still took us about 5 weeks to appoint RobinsI think it took a lot longer than that. Sometimes a manager takes a while to find. Why they didn't hoof Thorn out in the summer I don't know. It would've made things much easier.Even when we sacked Thorn though it still took us about 5 weeks to appoint Robins
At least we don't have to worry about them signing clarke to solve their goal scoring issues
Disagree. Miliband has shown some integrity here. Mind you, he wasn't going to be very involved anyway since he's off to New York.See David Milliband, South Shields MP, has resigned as a SAFC director in protest at the self-proclaimed fascist being made manager.
While I do think that PDC is a prat, I think that this is posturing by Millibland - either that or a pointless April Fool's joke by the BBC or Sunderland
Di Canio signed Clarke for Swindon then forced him out just a couple of weeks later after they fell out.
He's probably scored more goals than the entire Sunderland team who played vs Utd.

Cynical.
Naughty.
No. No.
Funny how the Sunderland fans seem to have changed their tune already
