Because in my view he is a disgusting human being who grifts by inciting hatred and spewing poison. I have no idea what he did or what he’s up for- no doubt he’ll say it’s a fitup for being a “patriot”, but whatever it is he’s done I personally hope it attracts a nice long sentence.

Why do you want someone to have a long sentence when you don't even know what he did or what he's up for🤣🤣🤣🤣

I'm sure you will be disappointed, sentenced to 18 months out in 9.

This could actually be a quote by Donald J Trump

Except it’s not, it’s a quote by me. I don’t like the man, or what he stands for, and that’s that. Don’t know what he did and don’t care, but at least we now have a few months without his horrible poison being disseminated around the place.

So you'd rather have terrorists and major criminals walking freely and have people imprisoned for using freedom of speech

The point is you’ve no idea why he’s been arrested - but he’s a very very bad man so it’s clearly ok

No, the point is that the man is an all out racist who spreads lies and does everything he can to incite hatred, all while mocking the very people (who are mostly very dense) that he claims to ‘represent’ by living abroad and taking large sums of money from them. I find him a contemptible individual. And whatever he did he’s been sent down for- for me that’s great news.

Why not arrest all the criminals?

And there’s not a freedom of speech law on the planet that allows you to repeatedly spread false information after explicitly being told not to by a judge.

I think you’ve gone off the deep end if you’re caping for this absolute coked up chancer mate. You’re allowed to hate brown people without making a random Luton chav a millionaire.

I've not been keeping up with the odds on USA Election. Seen the news of course and Kamala seems pretty popular. Trump as expected remains popular with his supporters, but I thought it was going to be close, slightly leaning in Kamala's favour, but Trump currently 1/2 favourite. That's pretty strong and the bookies are usually pretty much right.

Far more people bet on Trump than visa versa. Not sure the bookies know shit tbh mate. How could they?

Harris will definitely win the popular vote but Trump is marginally ahead in the scenarios they run in swing states and the big money is on him. So to protect themselves he will be clear favourite.

Even if you believe in the myth of "paying into the system" all of your life, you haven't paid for the future publicly funded costs of your retirement years, you're paying for current retirees.

Boomers need to accept the world they built isn’t sustainable. Cars for everyone. Thirty years of retirement health and social care on the tax payer, but refuse to let any taxes ever rise. You can do that shit if you’re American with limitless land and economic power. Since the empire we aren’t that.

Government talks about growth yet the forecasts are abysmal, allowing them to bake in austerity forever which continues the abysmal growth which bakes in austerity which continues....

There should be an opt out on paying for certain things.

No kids - you arent paying for education

Let's face it, while we are saying OAPs cant think to rely on their care from the tax payer we are sending billions to Ukraine and billions on hotels for asylum seekers.

It's "fuck you, I know you have worked hard all of your life and saved and paid tax but no more."

Where's the motivation for people to do well?

etc etc.
But then you only pay whist they attend so doesn't that basically mean private school only?

The pot has to come from somewhere, equally you could argue I've not been in hospital so why should I pay for the NHS but then again that means private healthcare, I dont have a car etc etc. It can't really work for the masses.

I was just saying it in response to that about tax payers not helping pensioners.

If I am told to work hard, pay into my pension, pay my taxes etc and when I get to 65 it's "Oh nah you're going to need to work 10 more years, the state aren't helping you and if you have paid off your mortgage and die your daughter is going to get hammered with tax on the house" doesn't really sound as good?

Some people really seem to have issue with the older generation.

That’s pretty much how I feel about it.
