I said he shouldn’t have bothered reaching out to non Labour voters if he didn’t mean it. Is that such an unreasonable opinion?
Saying something you don’t mean is dishonesty and lying.
No change there then.

What practical impact has this priority had. Their manifesto said they would stop housing asylum seekers in hotels. We have this week heard of two more local hotels being used. What do you think that means? He’s made immigration a priority for example, something non Labour voters care about far more than Labour voters. Same with law and order.
Suspect it will be of limited use and of no use at all for people suffering from dementia.I’d probably want to use it if I got certain degenerative diseases
True, of little use.Suspect it will be of limited use and of no use at all for people suffering from dementia.
The proposed bill only allows those of sound mind who are suffering terminal illness with less than 6 months remaining to make any use of it. With all the hoops you have to go through I can see most people being well into those 6 months, or dying, before all the checks and paperwork are completed.

Normal rules haven’t applied since johnson they didn’t stand a chance
They have lost the room, and no it most likely does not matter with their 34% bullet proof majority.
Perhaps the best time in my lifetime for a third force to emerge.
David Vance is a far right cretin. Small wonder you're murmuring along with he in agreement..

Sandford Police? How are you so bad at this?

Wife put it best: nobody chooses to be born, so if they don't want to stay alive then that choice should be theirs to make.Im going to go out on a limb and say no we won’t all agree.
Im pro, it’s not your life if you’re not allowed to choose how and when to end it. I’d probably want to use it if I got certain degenerative diseases, no one is forcing you to do it if you don’t want and the anti side seem absolutely batshit making up all kinds of weird scenarios to justify their opposition.

Yep especially when you consider how very recently suicide was illegal in this country - 1961 and it’s still illegal in Uganda and TongaWife put it best: nobody chooses to be born, so if they don't want to stay alive then that choice should be theirs to make.

How do they get a conviction?
As has Starmer and Reeves with the imaginary black hole,Normal rules haven’t applied since johnson they didn’t stand a chance
They could have made a better start but they didn’t have a chance
Reform will promise the world and lie and cheat and then blame everyone else just like trump is and has done
Thanks PVA, sure it will be very useful to follow.FAO Malc and Co
Here's a handy site you can use to keep track of all the broken pledges:

When the suicide is unsuccessfulHow do they get a conviction?
O suppose with assisted suicide, it would have likely been discussed with family beforehand so not a shock at the time of death. No unexpectedly discovering a body dangling from a staircase or whatever. Less messy etc. Can't get my head around this, didn't we have a thread on here suggesting they selfish, and creating grieving victims behind?
That was a Tory government decision wasn’t it and one that I would anticipate reform would put back if not remove any end date for selling petrol or diesel carsFord calls for incentives to buy electric cars as backlash grows
The government faces pressure from the industry to make changes to electric vehicle sales quotas.www.bbc.co.uk
Tories moved it from 2030 to 2035. Clearly the whole thing needs reviewing as the market simply isn’t wanting these vehicles in the numbers that governments want to be sold. That was a Tory government decision wasn’t it and one that I would anticipate reform would put back if not remove any end date for selling petrol or diesel cars
At least you are consistent, shame the government isn’t.They should pay for their shit. Social housing, maybe stock below a given value. I’d much rather focus on getting new builds built properly tbh
Doesn't seem an appetite for it, Barratts predicted for this or next year is 13k, hardly scratches the surface does it, still say get a dirupter in and lay a standard base with all service's provided. They should pay for their shit. He's not saying that at all. That's what he's saying in your head.I’m not contradicting myself. He started his period in office by reaching out to those who hadn’t voted Labour, now he is basically saying I don’t give a shit about them. It’s Starmer who has contradicted himself. Hardly surprising given he’s a lawyer, if you want two legal opinions on something ask one barrister.
