You said there wasn't an election next week?Fewer firstly. And secondly so what? 2019 was a disaster for Labour. The aim of politicians is to get elected. Labour won a landslide. If we had a different electoral system a different strategy would be valid but we don’t so it’s not.

I think a fundamental problem here is that committed Labour supporters can see it all going tits up and are embarrassed and angry about it, and would shoot the messenger (me) whatever the source. They are saying I am inventing stuff to get angry about and then defend, say Starmer, with thoughtless dogmatic propoganda.
I am deeply pissed off about the constant verbal attacks on boomers / pensioners which is ageism and, I would say, a hate crime. Perhaps @Nick and other moderators should take some action on such posts.
