This question may trigger, but it's actually an honest one. The report made a series of recommendations, has anybody seen a critique of these or know what opponents would like to see instead?
I haven't, so won't make a judgement on the contents, but when they're seemingly randomly popping in sources and stakeholders etc, it doesn't bode well for the veracity of the rest of it. I'm constantly amazed at how senior government bungles the basics of 'research' - it's not just this lot, either, Blair's Iraq dossier springs to mind! - but there are some fundamental principles that they seem to wilfully overlook, and this lot have stepped it up a notch. This question may trigger, but it's actually an honest one. BAME. Out. Pickaninny with water melon smile, In.Recommendations are here, there’s 20 odd so won’t paste them
The number of people who are listed in the report as having been involved in its creation who have come out and said they've had no input whatsoever raises alarm bells. Why on earth would you list people like that, surely can't have thought they wouldn't get found out.but when they're seemingly randomly popping in sources and stakeholders etc
They will though. Especially if there’s a Union Jack on the report. The number of people who are listed in the report as having been involved in its creation who have come out and said they've had no input whatsoever raises alarm bells. ...and they’ll get away with it and it’ll be turned into something triumphant by the compliant press. What a shambles and the 'result' of that report is not remotely surprising.
You just know that when they hold an inquiry into the COVID response it will find that we were amazingly well prepared, reacted perfectly, couldn't have done any more, and that Johnson, Hancock and Co did nothing wrong.

He's just a dictator. Still not convinced the 'coup' against him wasn't staged. If not it was the shittest attempt at one ever. Utterly inept from supposed military planners.
Yeah I was just interested in the strategics really, I know the article says it may override some treaty to do with the black sea and naval military restriction, might simplify a certain nations access into the med as ell. He's just a dictator. Hartlepool latest opinion poll has it turning Conservative in the forthcoming by-election, this is not looking well for Labour in the local elections.
If Labour can't win in Hartlepool then where can they win?

Look at the margin of error, look at the methodology of the poll, look at the weighting. Fuck me for someone who loves posting stats you have a blind spot for posting the latest anti Labour posts you've seen on twitter.
It maybe bad news but until we actual more reliable data we just don't know.
I think this shows a lot more, It looks like the voters who choose the Brexit party in the last election may not be returning to their traditional previous voting choice.
No it doesn't because if you look at the data it shows that only 3% off the people polled say they voted brexit party.
Look at how they answered the rest of the survey.
They talk about all the things they'd like the government to do... then say they will vote for the party that will do the exact opposite to those things.
Sums this country up. Absolute idiots who continually vote against their own best interests!

This could explain partially why Labour et al is 10 points down in the recent opinion polls.
There’s an entire raft of policies here that a party like Labour could adopt... who knew.Look at how they answered the rest of the survey.

Interesting thread.
In reality what it shows are BXP voters forgetting who they voted for in 2019. There’s only something like 3% BXP voters in that poll when that seat had 26% BXP vote, similarly there’s more 2019 con voters than Lab which is clearly bollocks as Lab won the seat.
I wouldn’t be surprised if Con won, they’re still well into vaccine honeymoon period, but that poll is less than useless.
