Saw a tweet, so obv take it with a pinch of salt, that since the Conservatives came into power back in 2010 they've tightened immigration rules 168 times including 43 laws specifically targeting small boats. In the last 3 years the number of people crossing on small boats has increased dramatically.

Definitely the party I'd be voting for if I was concerned about the number of people crossing the channel in boats or the non return of those whose asylum claims had failed

The numbers are probably skewed at the moment by the Hong Kong scheme. Although that quickly went from the government underestimating the number’s that would take up the offer to extending it for a year because not enough have taken it up. On a purely selfish level, the childcare may work out beautifully!
As far as I can see it ain't free though, more... subsidised
Childcare becomes more difficult when they start school as the hours so much shorter and the holidays longer (I know teachers are not their for childcare @Brighton Sky Blue) it’s just an opinion.
