Got to love secret ballots.

The question I guess would be how many are actually going to vote against the oaf.

May had 200 - 117
Duncan Smith was on 90 - 75

The rest had a stalking horse running against themselves for the leadership.

Think anything over 100 will be spell out the gradual end for him, and the higher the votes against him, the quicker he will go.

111 Tories have come out in support of Johnson so far.
That’s pretty low. Thatcher resigned after receiving just over 200 votes from a not dissimilar amount of MP’s in the first round of the 1990 leadership contest which was in essence a no confidence vote. He may only need 181 votes but this might run closer than people think. It certainly doesn’t sound like MP’s are running around him in support.

Most Tory MPs which will vote in favour of Johnson will be on the Government Payroll, as what has already been pointed out. Let's say 163 MPs, as what JRM said when May had a leadership election. 359 Tory MPs in total, which leaves around 200 Tory MPs who aren't.

Around 60 Tory MPs have already submitted letters of no confidence, leaving 140 Tory MPs left, give or take a couple.

To get around 160 MPs to vote against Johnson tonight will be a huge result.

This can’t be welcome news either

which probably explains this from the excellent Dan Hodges

Still expecting him to get the 181 votes he needs myself but this is going to be very damaging for him. He’ll be a Theresa May at best after this.

He will win and not go anywhere - there are too many grifters in Parliament looking for jobs off the back of their support for him.

History does suggest he won’t survive until the next election

Ahh there he goes again. Using innocent Ukrainians as a meat shield to protect himself.

He truly is a disgusting c**t.

Perhaps he should have said we must ensure Russia aren’t embarrassed by the war and emerge with something

BSB claims the left don’t snark and spit with faux outrage lol

I can only assume you're very drunk right now.

Otherwise, probably best if you take a break from this place.

No hardly - I’m just ridiculing your faux anger and nonsense over a word - it’s boring and false

How do you know it's false?

How do you know others don't find it offensive?

I just think bandying that word out like confetti is pretty awful behaviour and I don't know what you're trying to achieve but it's not a good look.
