King runs a fund doesn't he, so presumably the money really comes from people in the background. Is that the 'Americans' Saddlebrains mentioned?

Their 15% stake does now seem a little futile. Surely they may as well just not sell at all or sell up entirely.

Go back on the sale to King and get straight up cash from Ashley. I don’t see what’s in it for King either.

If his plan is to build another stadium rather than sell to an owner in one already built, that just sounds daft

Wonder if one of these was SISU ?!

Another offer started at £35m as due diligence went on, reduced to £25m, then £15m, then £10m.

An offer of £18m was received with no bridging funding.

Strange how everyones due dilligence varies by so much lol one went down to £10M. Obviously MA sees lots of value and upside in his investement.

Well it's the outcome I expected. Not sure why King would take 85% of SISU's ownership without the arena? i think this will fall away and it will be Ashley that SISU have to broker a deal with. I guess SISU had hoped King's inclusion would ive them more gravitas in negotiation with Ashley - another failed idea. Ashley will screw SISU. King won't be there to get screwed over.
Does Ashley want the football club? of course he does, if only for the greater publicity and PR it offers him. It's a bargain knock down price as he already owns the stadium.
Oh there is lots more to come on this for sure.

Yeah according to King but the yanks where it was being suggested they were blocked out?

I don’t think they ever bid, I don’t think SaddleBrains rumour matches up anyway, King says talks started with Joy after the exclusivity deal was signed. I’d have expected them to say something if they’d been shut out and King has bought 85% not 51% so it doesn’t really add up.

I’d expect the bidders were the ones we heard of, plus a few chancers like the ones who didn’t realise what they were bidding for.

So when is the great stadium heist episode 26 by joy Seppala coming?

the one thing in all of this

by King saying Joy has "Run out of money" and "couldn't afford the stadium."

shows what we all know that their Warwick uni stadium plans were BS all along. They'd have known this all along and SISU really need to be challenged on that
