I think you’ve hit upon something with the running out of cash point.

If Joy knew that CCFC could be “aggressively taken over / distressed” by MA who was clearly going to buy the Arena and then (according to Twitter Piggy and credible posters on here) fully try to buy CCFC then admitting you are skint isn’t sensible.

Not being able to afford HMRC bills and panic selling Hyam means “we is skint”

By having a bouffant “wealthy new owner with 25 mil in hand” it may give the impression of “we don’t need to sell cheap”.

Is this smoke and mirrors and a ploy to sell CCFC to MA but not at a knockdown price?

Just thinking that if DK had really wanted to buy Arena he would have gone with the right LC / proof of funds and a solid business plan. Surely one could have been knocked up quickly. Was this a charade to not buy the Arena but show that we have a few quid - “so don’t bully us Mike”?

Thoughts?
The charade was at the High Court where CCC and Frasers had the lease documents ready to sign

I think there’s a reason we haven’t heard anything about the team. He isn’t going to be here for long if at all in reality. Unless the EFL has approved it overnight he currently owns nothing, we don’t even know if it’s been put to the EFL. All we’ve had is a statement of intent and an interview that seems it was all about yesterday. I think in the next week we’ll possibly know if MA does have intentions on CCFC and hopefully by Xmas we’ll never have to talk about what SISU are doing/going to do again. I suspect that Doug will be forgotten about long before then.
Contracts have been exchanged Subject to EFL ' a formality.

Was having a nose on-line at a village called Reydon, about a mile from Southwold. Do you know the area? When I hang up my boots, looked a nice place to spend walking our dog.
Good choice. It’s not like the midlands, you are in the countryside within a couple of minutes even if you are in the centre of Southwold. The only thing I look at is access to healthcare. The main hospitals are Ipswich and Norwich. Both thirty plus miles away. We are lucky here. Reydon, I’ve cycled through a few times and surfed the internet to check the house prices/ properties.

Funny you mentioned that, access to healthcare was one thing I mentioned to my wife (although my wife quickly followed up with - what about going to the football? I wasn't brave enough to suggest waiting until I was 98 before considering a move!
