Was never really a fan until this season. I think he's done really well and in many games has shown more leadership than Sheaf; always getting into the ear of the Ref, which I really like a player doing.

...I think this is a blessing in disguise

Why? He actually offers something useful.

The blessing in disguise would be if our pathetic captain could stay in the treatment room and away from the pitch. We're better without him. There are admittedly better players than Eccles, but he does his job very well and I would back him to step up in important games/moments.

It will be a shame if this rumour is true.

Some nonsense in here. He's been excellent for us, seriously who are these arseholes that constantly knock him? I can't only assume they either know nothing about football or don't watch our games very closely. We're in the play off places and he's one of many big reasons for that. Was my player of the season up until new year, others have shone more since, that's no slight on Eccles though!

That wasn't a guarantee, it was an all being well scenario. Plus his ankle seems to be twice the size of the other one to complicate matters.
Please send some links I haven't seen anything about Rudoni's ballooning ankle. Im sure Lampard mentioned him and Sheaf being available for Sheff U, may have misheard on the CWR postmatch

See above. Realised it was Boosh who posted a pic so probably is just a snap of his mate Craig Danny being too pissed to remember to wear a matching pair of shoes again.

Still is the scenario far as I'm aware

I'm struggling to see how Rudoni has an ankle injury bearing in mind he hasn't stepped onto the training pitch since before the Oxford game

Gonna have a job to pick up an ankle injury when you're already out with a shoulder problem

I'm still waiting for Saka to recover from his broken back and broken pelvis he got last year.

Don't think having injured players is a blessing in disguise.
We've had Wright, EMC and Rudoni injured. They've had a good mid season rest. Two of them back playing well. Just Rudoni now. They will be up against players knackered and picking up injuries which finishes their season.

I count their injuries as a blessing in disguise.

Asked about this

'They aren't back in until tomorrow, so if he was injured then I cant see how he would have been scanned etc.. also walked off the pitch and in the changing rooms absolutely fine post Sunderland so unless he's done it in his days off, and somehow diagnosed himself, I would assume its a wind up for now'
