Lost his position to Simms at Oxford though.....Shame as had him down for taking a penalty at Wembley again. 2 out of 2 record.

Also under Lampard he's played in a more advanced role which suits his physical attributes more than just sitting deepWas never really a fan until this season. I think he's done really well and in many games has shown more leadership than Sheaf; always getting into the ear of the Ref, which I really like a player doing.
Eccles is never our best player. If he is then we are in the do-do. Rudoni and Thomas would have always been on the pitch for a startBollocks he was our best player first few months of the season.
He was great against Sheffield United smashed O'Hare every time he got the ball.
...I think this is a blessing in disguise

I thought Rudoni will be back for Sheff Utd game?It really isn't with Sheaf seemingly still struggling and Rudoni still out for several weeks.
What ankle injury??Sick note Eccles, how long before @Saddlebrains threatens to ‘kick fuck out of him’.
Have to wrap Allen in cotton wool now particularly if Rudoni’s ankle injury is serious.
Rudoni is meant to be back isn’t he for Sheffield? It really isn't with Sheaf seemingly still struggling and Rudoni still out for several weeks.

What is this ankle injuryThat wasn't a guarantee, it was an all being well scenario. Plus his ankle seems to be twice the size of the other one to complicate matters.
Just before his next injury. When is Sheaf back again?

Please send some links I haven't seen anything about Rudoni's ballooning ankle. Im sure Lampard mentioned him and Sheaf being available for Sheff U, may have misheard on the CWR postmatchThat wasn't a guarantee, it was an all being well scenario. Ah I've just seen that cheers mate. Haha let's hope so !See above. Realised it was Boosh who posted a pic so probably is just a snap of his mate Craig Danny being too pissed to remember to wear a matching pair of shoes again.
At least sheaf should be back and hopefully rudi so should be in a stronger spotA shame. Not good for squad depth and on his day he can be good.
At same time if had to pick a midfielder to do without it would be eccles

My Eccles related news is usually spot on

I'm still waiting for Saka to recover from his broken back and broken pelvis he got last year.Still is the scenario far as I'm aware
I'm struggling to see how Rudoni has an ankle injury bearing in mind he hasn't stepped onto the training pitch since before the Oxford game
Gonna have a job to pick up an ankle injury when you're already out with a shoulder problem
...I think this is a blessing in disguise
FL also stated he hopes to have sheaf rudi and bta fit for after then break post SunderlandStill is the scenario far as I'm aware

We've had Wright, EMC and Rudoni injured. They've had a good mid season rest. Two of them back playing well. Just Rudoni now. They will be up against players knackered and picking up injuries which finishes their season.Don't think having injured players is a blessing in disguise.
I was the same when Douglas Bader lost both his legsWe've had Wright, EMC and Rudoni injured. They've had a good mid season rest. Two of them back playing well. Just Rudoni now. They will be up against players knackered and picking up injuries which finishes their season.
I count their injuries as a blessing in disguise.
